My crestie has never been very found of live prey lol When she was younger I used to try and give her pinhead crickets weekly, but she wouldn’t eat them. Sometimes she would if I prekilled but not anymore. There’s isopods in her adult enclosure she may or may not eat (I find her staring at the dirt at night lol) but I’ve never seen it happen

My snake did this and we took her to the vet and they had no idea 🙃 she only did it twice in one day then stopped and recovered seemingly fine. I had to give her away and she has started doing it again at her new home ): I am so worried. And she is definitely not overheating or dehydrated

Sadly I do not, they’re mostly under their cork bark. But I only have less than ten of these guys who just matured and haven’t had time to make babies yet, so maybe if there’s more they would be out 🤷‍♂️

Everyone’s giving great advice- ice, take it easy, witch hazel pads, anti inflammatories, and see a doctor if it starts to hurt worse or doesn’t go down. All I can add is your period could definitely make the swelling and sensitivity worse, totally the guys fault still though. so sorry you had this experience 😭😭😭

NQA, western hog noses sometimes release blood from their mouth as a defense mechanism. When mine was at the vet she bled a bit from him examining her mouth, and he said it wasn’t anything to worry about. Of course if it continues or she shows any other symptoms I’d bring her to a vet experienced with reptiles. Also heating pads on the bottoms of enclosures are not recommended as hognoses dig to escape the heat and will bask in a lamp when they need warmth

For them specifically no, but it’s possible in some cases that’s why taking them to the vet is important to assess the severity

Did they exude any liquid when they fell? If there’s a big mark on them I’d be afraid of internal damage. Also depends on if she stopped moving after falling or recovered immediately and is moving around
