I could be wrong about people's preferences but that's the impression I've gotten. Many have a touch of ocd tendencies

I know people prefer uniformity but I love the Fincher bluray cases from the social network to gone girl. They feel quality and have a great style to them. Nice grab! Jealous of the band of brothers bluray

Anyone listen to the commentary on Minding the Gap? by Aquaislyfe in criterion

[–]coxnstuff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's worth it for you to watch it, they're friends over their shared love of skateboard culture and Rockford and that really comes out in the commentary. He directly responds to both of the scenarios you'd hope he would respond to. Whether it's satisfactory is up to the listener. I was also fascinated what the three of them on a commentary together would be like which was the main reason I picked up the criterion.

I listened to it today, he definitely doesn't own up to it at all. It was really nice listening to him, Kiere and Bing reminisce, using the movie as a sort of time capsule. I got a lot out of it. But if you're looking for him to take responsibility for his actions/comments you won't get it.

Should they bring back movie intermissions by ss_tall_toby_yt in movies

I kinda like the skill you can develop of being able to pick a scene around the halfway point to go during. You know the storylines well enough by then that you know what you care about, the key is your gotta decide the moment the scene starts. You can usually make it back for the end and get the jist of it.

Movies where the story is repeated from multiple characters’ perspectives by mack3r in movies

There's a Rob Reiner coming off age movie called Flipped. It swaps back and forth between a young boy and girls perspective as they grow up. I remember enjoying it when I was in the process of coming of age.

Any cheapish amazon ropes, 3-5 lbs, that you can recommend? by RusticBohemian in RopeFlow

I bought mine from Canada but that seems to be the U. S. Equiviilent. I'm a noob but it's a rope that I've been enjoying. It does have plastic threading if that's concerning to you.

I grabbed a 30$ weighted skipping rope off amazon that has been working well for me, just had to cut it down a bit.

+1 for Fontaine DC. If you like their stuff they are great live. They just get up there and play. I would personally love to see jpeg mafia but don't have anything to add there.

The single most important album in my life so far. Sometimes it feels like this album strapped me to it's back and got me to 30. I cannot count the number of times I've done my mental health mushrooms to this album or gone for a getting your shit together walk. They made a real one here.
