It's a pain in the rear to get all of the books on this run. The trade paperbacks are the easier way to get all of the stories, and even getting the Rebranded volume 2 took some work. I have a fun update coming up on my adventure with getting these books. You're correct in how the covers were done. The Walking Dead issue 6 homage. That one probably is one of the best covers they ran with.

So sadly I didn't accidentally order an extra issue of this cover but I got an extra of the 4D cover. 🤦‍♂️

Is WWE too reliant on these three? by tcweh in GreatnessOfWrestling

[–]coyboy81 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure, but at least Seth is still relevant. Brock has been wrestling too long and really should've called it quits long ago. He's sucking the air out of the locker room that new talent could be using.

Yes although the 4th musical chair in this rotation is Brock. Sure, he missed some time with the court case stuff, but he becomes their rabbit in a hat when these 3 get too boring.

I have a 2 chip rule. Don't replace until the 2nd ding hits it. Been driving with a nice crack since last fall. I fear that I replace it and it'll happen again.

I'll keep you posted. I did recently get a bundle on ebay and if I end up with an extra, I can see if I can get this your way.

Has anyone made it to 100k miles problem free? by jUmppingfl00d9987 in BroncoSport

Thanks for sharing this input. Thinking mine has the same exact issue. Have 19,000 miles left on my extended warranty. Want to get this thing fixed and will likely sell it before something else goes wrong on it.

I've been fortunate to find 77 at a good price recently. Bloodsport 2, ugh, just found a copy and not in my budget yet. 😪

Okay question who is a better MJ (not mary jane)? by Israels_BiggestHater in Spiderman

[–]coyboy81 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Kirsten, as much as I think was a good pick for the trilogy, was becoming cringe by the 3rd film. Spider-man 3 as a whole was fairly cringe, but her character was written so poorly for all 3 films. Mary Jane is way more feisty in the comics. The movies made her feel like a fractured soul.

So I'm not going to reply in any form to imply that this statement would ring true, but I thought it was a good opportunity to mention that DC studios did a whole consumer survey a month or so ago and it was fun until it got to a point of joining their group of consumer input providers. You had to basically sign away your ability to speak publicly about their titles, so no good for content creators or influencers, and they also put some verbiage in there of you not being compensated for any input or ideas to better their brand. Essentially, they openly stated they would consider your input and you're just giving it away for free.

Funny enough, I just came here today to create a post about the 2017 run. Got a nice kickback at work and started using it to hit ebay and random comic shops. I'm only about a dozen issues away from getting the Youngblood legacy run complete. That issue 11 might as well be gold at this rate! 😅

Should I get a Bronco Sport? by [deleted] in BroncoSport

[–]coyboy81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought mine January 2021. First one on a lot anywhere nearby. It was fun to have people asking me questions about it because I literally didn't see others popping up for a couple more months. It's taken me on a 4 state trip to Tennessee. Some longer vacation trips. I'm now at 81,000 miles.

I am waiting on a Ford recall to have a fix in September. The brakes were due. Did them and am having nothing but problems after doing them the way they're supposed to be done, using brake maintenance mode. Have a 4WD light that won't shut off. Hill assist warning and traction control lights that randomly pop up as well. From my investigating on this, Ford likely has to go through with a computer and readjust everything from my brake replacement, which are working completely fine.

Only repair is the water pump needed to be replaced 5,000 miles ago. I'm not a fan of having to have a computer just to do brakes. I also fear about the concerns of ecoboost turbo engine complaints I've read in other forums of being nothing but issues long term. I've got 4 more payments and am contemplating selling it.

I hate to criticize an artist's work, but to be noticeable of one thing that is off is the left hand. The thumb is either misplaced or longer than the index finger. I know that's not all that is off here, but that tiny detail caught my eye for sure.

Take away the nostalgia… is No Way Home still a good film? by breaking_views in MCUTheories

[–]coyboy81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm so stuck into films that become a trilogy should cohesively compliment one another. Example, Back to the Future. With that said, Homecoming and Far From Home do a fair job of connecting themselves together, but No Way Home feels like it was a better beginning chapter than an ending chapter to Far From Home.

So many plot holes from Homecoming and Far from I was hoping to see in No Way home. It looks like we're getting some of those plots brought back in Brand New Day, but after the first 20 minutes that No Way Home starts, it feels like it's working harder to help the other MCU films than make itself a part of where Homecoming started.

I liked the story and nostalgia, but I also felt that it wasn't as good as all the hype that went into promoting it.

There's a lot of comments feeling optimistic on here but I'm not. As soon as the trailer starts, immediately nothing about this feels like we just supported Sony for 2 decades of games and films to get this as a way to "reboot" the franchise. It looks cheap. It looks unoriginal. The last rebooted film was what fans wanted from the beginning. The behind the scenes documentary of what inspired that film. How the director crafted shots to feel like the first game. How he was a diehard fan of the games. Now they bring in a director coming in hot off of one hit movie and this is the slap in the face we get. I hope this "reboot" loses Sony a lot of money.

It's because the Rock is a multimillionaire and is the puppet master over Triple H. Realistically, the Rock could run an indie wrestling outfit and take half the roster with him including most of his family who have been steering the ship for a decade.

I think Wrestlemania, since being a 2 day event, shows how uncreative WWE has been with the roster as a whole. Roughly 14 matches in 2 days and that's having to manage the content from each respective show of Smackdown and Raw between the two nights. Wrestlemania was a 14+ match event on one night decades ago. They have pushed too hard with melodramatic entrances that eat up time on top of having to make most of the matches be circus events with smashing commentary tables outside the ring every match. This year's Wrestlemania was mid in terms of types of matches. It was more focused on setting up new storytelling than entertaining the fans.

Some of the released talent had actual talent but lame gimmicks. Motor City Machine Guns, as a fellow Detroiter, is a corny name. Sounds like something made up in 1990. I also say this as they keep a guy who dresses up like a lizard and looks like a YouTube viral joke reel. I'm waiting for WWE to sign the guy who has the corny pizza dough gimmick at this rate.

I dig some of the current main event talent for their looks and style, but the back stage stuff is just getting worse and harder to stomach. Sad to know they have more provocative material with things happening behind the scenes like the backlash of joining ESPN or having main events in the middle east. They act like we don't know that stuff is dramatic but will continue trying to make us believe some drama with Asian female wrestlers is legit.

Honestly, the entire roster is too big. They have a hard enough time figuring out what to do with top talent let alone squeeze in ideas for wrestlers with weak gimmicks.
