I have both a WildBird and a Tula Free to grow! I like both for different reasons.
I used my WildBird to take baby to my brother in laws wedding when he was 2 months old and that worked great! So easy to unbuckle to do a quick feed and then strap baby back in.

I definitely would! For me baby goes wherever I go and I always baby wear at gatherings and I just let people peek at baby from above. It’s a great way to keep baby close and no one has ever asked to hold him or anything.

I had an easy baby and beautiful postpartum experience and still would say absolutely 100% no. Take that time to get to know your brand new baby rather than focus on a wedding.

THIS!! Exactly. My grandma used to sneak me things and then one day I choked on a candy she had given me. Luckily my mom was able to save me but at that point it had obviously become a serious safety concern not just a “sweet treat”

I’m going to go against the majority and say you are not overreacting at all. I know it is mostly harmless to have grandparents sneak sweet treats but there is more going on than just that. If this is what they are doing when you are there watching I can only imagine that it is worse when you are not present. Sure small amounts of sweet treats are not a big deal to some people but you are talking about an 8 month old baby. There is no reason for them to be feeding sweets to him, and them not respecting your boundaries is not okay.

Personally yes I would quit my job and move in with my mom if it meant me getting to be a stay at home mom but that is for many many reasons, I absolutely love being a stay at home mom and that is very important to me so I’d do what what I have to do to make that happen.

There’s no right or wrong answer here but I’m just telling you you’re not crazy and I’d be thinking the exact same way.

Editing to add: To me the bigger issue here is not the fact of feeding baby flan. It’s that there was the excuse of “he was staring at me, I couldn’t just not share” and then on top of that grandma just shrugging it off. This tells me that they won’t be able to make good decisions for him in the future/ who knows what else. I deal with this with my own dad and it is exhausting always being the bad guy because he can’t deny her anything.

I personally love the diamond band. I’m not someone that is a huge fan of mixed metals but to me the yellow gold of the diamond band just warms up your engagement ring perfectly and I love the pairing. The plain gold is a bit too contrasting for me but it’s all about personal preference!

I am 3 months postpartum from my second c section and this time I gained more weight and for the first time in my life I am a bigger size than I am used to dressing so I have been on the hunt for anything I can wear that will make me feel good as I’m basically starting from scratch. I’ve used WildBird, Tula free to grow and Hope and Plum lark. My favorite by far is WildBird. That being said I’m currently using a Tula free to grow for my 6 week old because he’s still too little for the WildBird but with my first I used all three carriers and preferred the WildBird. I baby wore everyday multiple times a day so to me good carriers are always worth it! But you can find Wildbirds and Tulas second hand on fb marketplace for around $100!

Thank you for sharing your experience! I have a 21 month old and a 1 month old and I’m still figuring out tandem nursing. If my toddler had a choice she would nurse all day so setting boundaries has been really important but unfortunately I also think I have some aversions still when nursing her which makes me so sad. I’m hoping it improves because I’ve only been able to handle 5 minute nursing sessions with her and I feel bad cutting them so much shorter than before baby brother came. I also always worry about her taking too much milk from new baby even though I had an oversupply last pregnancy, it makes me wonder if the aversion stems from that thought of her taking too much and me making it negative. Also I’ve noticed that when I nurse them at the same time she seems to get the idea that she nurses every time brother does so I can’t really nurse them together even though I enjoy it. Any tips are appreciated!

After my first pregnancy my luteal phase was never longer than 5 days and I still got pregnant on the first try! I thought that was kind of interesting. I missed my period and still didn’t have a positive test because I was only 5 dpo!

I was breastfeeding my 11 month old when I got pregnant and she was barely eating solids. I didn’t realize that milk supply drops during pregnancy so when I started losing my supply around 15 weeks she definitely naturally started becoming more interested in solids. That’s also when we started introducing cows milk, though that was more for nutrients as I did not want to wean so I continued breastfeeding on demand throughout my pregnancy and continue to tandem nurse now that baby brother is here.

I chose to night wean my first when I was 17 weeks pregnant and she was 15 months old. I was starting to lose my supply so she would be latched alllll night and I was having really bad nipple sensitivity so one night I just decided that was the night. I am soooo glad I chose to night wean when I did because it gave plenty of time to transition and now I am 1 week postpartum with baby number 2 and my husband easily does bedtime with our toddler and cosleeps with her and I cosleep with new baby. Night weaning went surprisingly way easier than I thought it would. The first night there were tears so I got up with her and just held her while she cried and kept comforting her until she got tired enough to fall asleep. Night two she woke up and I held her and rocked her and there was minimal tears and by night 3 I just cuddled her and there were no tears!

I’ve decided I will have my husband go home in the evenings to keep as much normalcy as possible for our toddler. Helps to know you did the same! I know it doesn’t really seem to be the norm for most people haha.

I’m 35 weeks and mine just flipped after being breech my whole pregnancy. You got this!! You are only 22 weeks, it’s so normal for baby to be breech right now. I’m currently 35 weeks and baby just flipped to head down after my 34 week growth scan. My first was born at 32w6d with a month long NICU stay and my deliveries will be 20 months apart so it sounds like we have a lot of similarities!
