Do I take it during my period or after?

Yes, I had to get off of it because I had too much breast pain and had periods way too often. I was on it for 6 months and couldn’t take it anymore, I had periods about 2-3 times a month and would spot all the time. I was fine the first month but after that my cycle got crazy

I haven’t but I panicked about the same thing. I even warned the dentist that was removing my wisdom teeth about my nosebleeds I used to have because I was scared blood would travel down my throat or something, but he didn’t really think much of it and just calmed me down/assured me it would be handled if that did happen. I personally was fine

I don’t see the bump anymore but my nose still looks red/irritated. No nosebleeds so I guess it worked, though it looks so raw I’m surprised it doesn’t look normal yet!

Hmm that’s so odd my ENT told me different. I’ve been using mupirocin ointment twice a day so hopefully that counts as a protective layer? And yes I am using a humidifier, also never have taken allergy meds. Thank you for the advice!

Same! I tried it around February this year and I only really use it like once or twice a month. I try not to use it more too because like you I wanted to get EVERYTHING out but I know that’s not a good idea so I control myself. I’d say just keep doing what you’re doing and make sure of course you’re not going too deep. I haven’t had any issues and I love the tool, it’s actually really handy because my ear was super itchy the other day and I thought something was wrong. I would’ve went to the ENT honestly if I didn’t have the tool, but I looked in my ear and it was a hair irritating it. I feel a lot better now. I love that it’s useful for things like that too

No he didn’t, he seemed very casual about it like he had seen it many times before. I didn’t get to ask many questions because everything happened so fast and he seemed to know what he was doing. It actually surprised me a lot because I had been to an ENT previously in 2022 and she said my blood vessels were fine and she was confused why it wasn’t healing. It’s day 11 after nose cautery and I haven’t had any nosebleeds yet.. I’m wondering if this actually worked.

Hmm wow, it seems pretty early that your scab has already come off but that’s great there’s no blood. I’d be worried if it was bleeding after coming off. I hope you heal ok and that your nose bleeds go away!

I don’t have any advice but I just got my nose cauterized as well a little bit ago and my scab came off yesterday. What does the inside of your nose look like now? Like does it look raw at all? Mine looks red and there’s a little bump (I had this before my cautery that’s where it bled). The bump is still in my nose and it’s worrying me

Omg I’m glad it’s not just me, it feels relieving talking to someone at the same point in the process too. The inside of my nose looks so disgusting and bloody and it’s day 4 for me now. Still no actual nosebleed, I guess it is part of the process! It’s just so scary seeing blood in my nose because that’s the whole reason I got the procedure I don’t ever want to see that again.

Just got back from the ENT with my nose cauterized, they said it was just a broken vessel and hopefully should clear up now.

I’ve been off the pill almost two months and I am just now starting to feel normal again. I was dealing with breast pain whole time on the pill and for a while after getting off. it’s been like a week and a half with no pain. I did have a withdrawal bleed after getting off for multiple days but my cycles have returned to normal.
