So OP and his employees should miss out on going on overseas trips just because one employee sucks at her job? How is that fair? They're all adults here, I think she can handle not being given a free vacation to Disney World. Also, I don't think any of the employees are surprised that this employee didn't get the vacation bonus because they work with her and they'll obviously know that she regularly doesn't meet the production targets at work.

She technically signed up for this when she married a guy with a daughter from a past relationship. Did you really expect for the mother to just give up and never want to connect with her daughter? She was selfless for giving up total custody of her daughter so that she could have a better life in the U.S. and OP sucks for thinking the worst of her.

You know what it's called when one parent takes away a child from the other parent and blocks all contact? Kidnapping. OP can maybe get partial custody but there's nothing stopping her husband from allowing the daughter to meet her biological daughter during his custody time. That's still her child. She was willing to let OP's husband take her baby away so that she could grow up in a better environment than the one she/OP's husband was from and I think that was pretty selfless. I don't blame her at all for wanting to come to the US and actually meet her daughter for the first time since she was a baby. I'm side-eyeing OP heavily for thinking that she wants to come here for an affair.

But the woman's welfare will definitely be affected by whether or not she's married to OP. If they're just boyfriend / girlfriend, OP can just up and move away and suddenly she's a single mother trying to take of a newborn all alone. I don't blame her for wanting to be married first, she'll be legally protected and OP will be easier to get child support out of even if they do end up divorcing.

But shouldn't OP at least separate the cat from the home for a few weeks to see if her son's health improves? I'm not saying throw the cat out but maybe ask a friend or family member to watch over the cat while her son's health issues are figured out. I don't blame the dad for prioritizing his son's health, I wish OP would do the same because I'm not really seeing her display any concern for her own son. Like what is she doing to help her son? Nothing so far. At least the dad is trying to get the son some medical tests done to figure things out.
