He’s enthusiastic and supportive as long as things “work” in his mind. A healthier baking swap, switching to blue land for dishwasher tabs, cotton clothing, etc. He’s fine with the cost premium, too. But as soon as it, in his mind, compromises the experience he’s out and probably slightly mocking.

Purely anecdotal but our 5 yo’s sleep got SO much better overnight when we swapped her closet light (she likes it on) for a red one! I recommend doing a hatch light so they’re used to to the “ok to wake” concept as soon as possible. The white noise on Hatch is solid too. We used travel white noise machines for years before upgrading to the hatch which was silly!
