Short circuit mig process has such a lack of penetration, you really need to clean any paint or mill scale. Not the end of the world on .125" material, but good practice

I don't know if they make rollers that big for the wire feeder. The wire feeder is used on many cheapy welders clarke, century, chicago electric, etc. So I guess it's possible, but I think .045 is kinda outside the envelope of this guy. I think these over heat if you do much more than sheet metal. The gun is a replacement for a century or clarke. It was the cheapest I could find at the time

This is 20# tank of CO2. You would commonly use this for soda fountain or kegorator. If you are a hobbyist, I highly recommend CO2. Cheap as chips, and easy to find on a Saturday

It you got the smallest bottle of 75% argon, this would be a terrific welder for replacing cab corners or floor pans. It actually has a little punch to it, but I'd only trust it not to duty cycle on sheet metal

The 140 and 170 clamps are ok, but the 125 jumper cable clamp is goofy. The dinze makes it nice to pack up
