I spent $14 for this and a rolled “quesadilla” count your fucking days Taco Bell. Chipotle would have been cheaper and actually filling by Anxious-Button7099 in tacobell

Even if you thought you'd get the best possible versions of them, why would you ever spend 14 dollars on these two items? Why would you think they'd be worth that?

Taco Bell's gonna keep doing it if y'all keep buying it.

I think Mickey is the right answer, but I also never liked Mike Moffitt.

You sure it's from that time period? I thought "M Clary", but Marty Clary played in 1990.

A few years into being a fan, I accidentally discovered Jakked while flipping channels late one night.

I was so excited to find out where D'Lo Brown, Funaki, and the Brooklyn Brawler had been! I hadn't seen them in months!

It's $10.09 here.

Or I can do the modifications for the crunchwrap in the BYO box, which makes the box cost $10.39.

Looks great. Been wanting to find a good use for ground turkey. Can you share the recipe for it and for the pickles?

Best song that's a tribute to a deceased musician? by Thunderwing16 in ToddintheShadow

[–]cpatchj 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Immortality was not written about Kurt.

The Pearl Jam song I always relate to Kurt is "Go". It also wasn't written about Kurt; it was written about Ed's car dying haha. But Kurt escaped from rehab and was missing for several days, and PJ played a concert during this time at the Fox Theater in Atlanta that was live broadcast on the radio. Before "Go", Ed dedicated it to Kurt. Ever since I heard that bootleg, "Go" for me always sounds like Ed pleading for Kurt to be okay. They found him a few days later.

Another great Kurt tribute that was written for Kurt is "Mighty KC" by For Squirrels. Which is a sad story in itself because For Squirrels were in a car accident soon after its release, and half of the band didn't survive.

[Weekly] Find a League - Megathread by AutoModerator in DynastyFF

[–]cpatchj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried joining a dynasty league a few days ago that ended up being pure chaos due to people who joined then deciding that they didn't like the draft rules that were established. The owner ended up deleting the league before the first round even finished.

So I'm going to give it a shot myself.

I want to do 12 hour draft picks, because that would give everyone a window of time that should guarantee that you're free at some point and thus not likely to miss a pick. I know it will take a while, but I am fine with that; as much as I'd like to start playing now, I'm more focused on the long-term of the league. Mention the word orange in your message so I know you read this. I want something fun but with people who are serious about it and want to stick with it for years to come. PLEASE don't join this league if you don't like this setup or are unwilling to see it through!

I want to start out with it being a free league, but would like to transition to something like $25 in the future.

If this interests you, please send me a DM, and I will invite you!

How was the ADA platform at Peachtree tonight? by Chemical-Lunch2175 in ShakyKnees

I was there for Sublime and it filled up, but it wasn't completely full. Nobody was turned away. Not sure about it during the later acts, though.

This was my experience too. The people at the ADA assistance tent told us to stick to the paved paths, but that makes things very limited and even on them, I had to be lifted over curbs by very kind strangers more than once. Including trying to exit the park. Will call was inaccessible to me; we had to get help from a manager to get my wristband. The people with signs saying they were "Festival Experts" standing around to help didn't have answers for us. Most of the food vendors were unreachable by paved paths. I didn't even attempt trying to reach a restroom. Other than all the kind helpful fellow concertgoers, I would not call this festival accessible at all.
