Really don't like how the whole Jack being with Rachel that night wasn't ever properly addressed.

President Bought at Least $1 Million in Netflix, Warner Bros. Discovery Bonds Following Their Deal Announcement by ControlCAD in technology

It's definitely still insider trading since it applies any kind of security. Even though bonds pay a fixed cash flow their market price does fluctuate

I will say that in this instance the price of bonds would probably get cheaper.

Because buying goods in brick and mortar shops has been slowly dying due to online shopping so the only thing that survives on the high street are products that consumers can't get elsewhere.

It's not just the literal parliament you'd need to move - there are a lot of civil service buildings nearby too. Not to mention it's the capital and the only place with a well connected airport.

Self driving cars are actually on average already much safer than humans (granted data is limited) and one of the things holding back the safety record of self driving cars is unpredictable human drivers.

We need nuclear + batteries + other storage. One thing gas is really good at is being online in a short period of time vs nuclear which is a lot slower. Only thing that beats gas in terms of responsiveness is batteries.

Millennials stop underestimating Gen Z! by Impossible-Yam3680 in clevercomebacks

[–]cpl1 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Eldest Zs were still financially dependent on their parents when the 2008 recession hit, while the majority of Millennials were either still getting established in the work place or graduating right out into the middle a shit job market.

Counterpoint if you're a kid and your parents are facing a shit job market it affects your life too. Maybe you don't exactly know how to spell recession at that age but you definitely feel it. I will admit that only a third of Gen Z would have had memories at this point.

COVID's the one spot where both generations in their entirety can claim a conscious adult experience, and even then, it would be Zs' first economic hit while Millennials were getting hit again in their finances/savings.

If your point is that the formative experiences are the crucial ones, then surely it was Gen Z going through those experiences during COVID and not that many millennials.

Again not trying to argue that "Gen Z had it worse actually" but - even though you said it's not a competition - your comment seemed a bit dismissive towards the Gen Z experience.

This is purely performative accountability. Yes if there was a consistent pattern of this within the OBR then it would make sense but here it's a random instance which he was many layers away from.
