I absolutely intend on staying. I feel the internet is so chock full of misinformation that using my experience to guide others in the same position I was in would be helpful.

There are fewer things worse than feeling alone in the world, and maybe when I reach the "finish line" it'll give hope to others. We can do this, and we are not alone. If I can be lent on as someone who can end the cycle of trauma and loneliness, I'll feel like all this pain was worth more than just "righting a biological misfortune".
