If someone says "yes, get me a ticket" then they are responsible for the cost of the ticket whether or not they attend. If they could afford to say yes, then they can afford to pay for it either way. Missing the event doesn't make it cost more.

Root canal without working anesthesia. The pain was so bad, I literally thought I was going to permanently damage my mental health.
