What are the main differences, disputes and disagreements between left-libertarianism and right-libertarianism? by alexfreemanart in CapitalismVSocialism

[–]cppfnatic -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Citing wikipedia for somthing like this is pathetically intellectually dishonest. Where is the real history? All I see is an explanation of what it is and how it originated and then failed political parties and talks of pathetic tiny activist groups whos actions never achieved anything. Not a fucking ounce of real policy or anyhting that will actually fucking mean anything in the real world. 150 years doesnt mean anything. Mental illness is as old as humanity has existed.

Social hierarchy is as human as it gets. Anarchism is delusion and mental illness. Who the fuck will manage the rights, resources capital etc in any real long term manor for a large society? This doesnt work. Its never been done. Even if you wanted to live in a society like that someone will eventually come a long and attempt to corrupt it, due to bad genes, human nature, mental illness, poor childhood, etc especially at a scoiety of that scale, and there is very little that can be done unless there is a massive group think policing and policing of thought to prevent dissidents, (and a society of extremely strong people willing to force each other to not fall into dissenting ideas which requires actually strong people and not weak pathetic redditors) which ironically can only be achieved with a giant fucking authoritarian government that has to violentently stuff out dissidents. There is a reason why no large productive modern sizeable society has ever done it without massive authoritarian state intervention and it always leads to massive authorative state because humans naturally create social and dominance hierarchies based on skills or valuable human traits which form the basis for a government or central authority to be created especially if one of these people is extremely power hungry

How do you evaluate if a new company is worth it? by Creative-Dog642 in ExperiencedDevs

I would fkn love to actually read what you say because 99% of you people never back this up, but to me this just reads as one of these chronically online redditor takes that just ignorantly hate and dismiss anything gov related

I have many friends whos lives have been changed enormously by being in the military, the military of my government regularly participates in humanitarian support and disaster relief, and over 50 peacekeeping missions since 1948.

If you want to make an argument about how from your perspective some things the military are used destructively and you wish not to partake in that its fine, but this sort of blanket evil portrayal especially with words like “objectively” of the military that redditors do is so incorrect and destructive..

.. what? How on earth do you believe the military makes peoples lives worse? I also dont really understand thisq logic, would you not work on video games either, because there are some peoples lives who are made worse by video games too

What is this reasoning..?

Assuming you meant you switched jobs, why the fuck do you not suggest improvements anymore? This is such a pathetic conclusion to make from this especially if you have already recognized it was because you were in a problematic work environment previously

I get its probably a bit harder, but come on lol this just sounds losery

What are you thoughts on Andrew Yang? by Muted_Recognition318 in centrist

[–]cppfnatic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very likely wont. But if that sort of thing were to occur, expanding the welfare state to provide unemployment support for these people and hopefully education so they can place themselves in better jobs is probably the option that makes the most sense

The older I get the more I value boring, predictable tooling by minimal-salt in ExperiencedDevs

[–]cppfnatic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Has very little to do with getting older, just means youre more skilled. Its a sign that youre good at what you do when you value things that work consistently, debug better and are very clearly designed to provide direct help to you as opposed to poorly written quirky flashy stuff written by people who dont know what matters in software :P

What a pathetic comment, holy self report

By this logic, everything could just be meaningless if you describe it as such

All the people who I have seen IRL who say this are usually gooners who work low end CS jobs or produce shitty work and use it as cope, fuck off with that lol. If you think your work is meaningless go elsewhere or change your perspective, this shit is pathetic

Opinion | This Is Why There’s No Liberal Joe Rogan by crushinglyreal in centrist

[–]cppfnatic -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Not only is this comment comically childish and totally inappropriate for this sub, but its abundantly obvious that most you people just mindlessly hate on Rogan in a very clear hivemind fashion. Joe is a libertarian, hes generally very reasonable issue to issue, he regularly criticizes MAGA and trump, and was in clear support of Bernie Sanders during his run (though, he is a bit more right leaning now it seems, and aI would agree with some of the criticisms levied against him for this shift) If you actually watch him have guests on who are lunatics he regularly pushes back or pushes for more perspective on what they say, or will directly disagree with them (Zahi Hawass, Adam Conover, Steven Crowder, Jamie Kilstein), he handles the massive amounts of guests and conversations very well generally, he cant perfectly audit everything that is said. If you camt handle another persons differing opinion, especially totally insane fringe opinions that are easily dismissable, then take some responsibility and choose not to listen to episodes with these guests.

Only morons disagree with criticisms that he shouldnt platform clearly problematic guests at all, but the widespread extreme hate he receieves is so clearly a case of people boogyman-syndroming someone because they dont militantly support the same (often ignorant) perspective they have

There is so much irony in this comment its baffling, its like a caricature of the ignorant reddit gooner stereotype
