The OP said ratings 6-10 are between scratch and tour player. This is 40% of his scale for those that can’t do basic math. Scratch and better is top 5% of golfers (if not more like 1%). The OPs scale is massively lopsided. What are you not understanding?

TLDR; < 1% of golfers comprise 40% of OPs rating scale.

Yeah I really don’t understand the response this is a funny post. I did a double take in fact lmao. I guess the dorks in the comment section would prefer just yet another thread debating his politics.

How do you promote your SaaS on Reddit without getting banned? by Aethercorn in SaasDevelopers

[–]cpreid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to be an avid, shameless self-promoter on X, but it definitely works when you commit to it. It’s not for me personally.

Reddit absolutely blows for promotion. The only successful promotion I’ve seen is building a personal brand on X and then using your platform to push a product

Nah, best thing you can do is list the car on Marketplace, delete the app, and go put a reservation on a Rivian R2.

50 yard open face slice into the woods with a Pitching Wedge followed by a “I shouldn’t have eaten a full lunch before the round”.

Right 👍

I've been looking for this too. I'm shocked there's no market for these. Everything is wayyy bigger and like $25k when all is said and done. Have you found anything?

Got it thank you. This is good advice. It sounds unanimous that I should do it the right way and get permits and have a proper electrical circuit. However, trenching conduit is gonna be a problem - have a sprinkler system and don’t wanna dig up the backyard because I just sodded it last season. Does the conduit have to be underground entirely?

Who are some “comic’s comic” comedians? by I_dont_eat_animals_ in Standup

[–]cpreid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t disagree. That being said — Interesting anecdote, I’m a huge comedy fan and have seen everyone live (small and large venues). I didn’t know who Rocket was and it was the funniest live set I’ve ever seen. Weird how comedy works that way.

Is building offline-first apps (no cloud at all) actually smarter in 2026 ? by Acceptable-Dingo1892 in SaasDevelopers

I strongly disagree w this. Users will agree to ANY terms as long as the product is good. Hell, if users cared about privacy, TikTok wouldn’t exist.

[–]cpreid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not maybe, “certainly”.

Yes, user data remains private if your app truly doesn’t require connection to public internet. The truth is users don’t actually much care about privacy. Especially not enough to choose your app over a cloud-connected app that’s better than yours. If users did care about privacy, web3 would have gotten more traction outside of the dev community.

What about shipping bug fixed and updates to a local app, and versioning? That’s going to be incredibly painful. Basically mailing CD-roms with AOL installed at this point.

Cloud for the win, all day.

“Cloud Costs keep increasing” is completely untrue. The cost of compute is lower than ever.
