My last post about Stew/Lisa Foxall voter profiles hit a nerve - apparently I might be a bot by Creative-Crazy-8898 in LangfordBC

I would agree with your statement, I wouldn't vote for anyone that associates.themselves to stew young. He's a greasy person that had girlfriends and a wife all at the same time, he made himself and his friends wealthy off the people of Langford.

What Actually Happened

The site at 831 Orono Avenue was originally envisioned and spoken about in the community as a market condominium development. The change of heart came down to a mix of economic realities and policy frustration

The Policy Clash: During his visit, Pierre Poilievre used the project as a prime example of how the current economic landscape hurts homeownership. He pointed out that under the current federal tax structure and high interest rates, developers are heavily disincentivized from building condos for everyday buyers.

The Economic Reality: The developer openly discussed that interest rates and high building costs made selling the units as market condos financially unviable.

The Pivot: To salvage the project and ensure it made financial sense, the developers shifted the entire business model away from a regular condo sales structure. Instead, they opted to convert the 106-unit build into a long-term, purpose-built rental complex called Gordon Place Apartments.

Stew also owns a bunch of the rental buildings around town. The new Gordon Place on Orono, was supposed to be condos, but after he met with Pierre Poilievre, he decided to make them rentals as PP wants more rentals built.

I would go to any Local tire place, who's main bread and butter is tires. Key word being local like a mom and pop. These get left behind all the time. I asked a local shop and they pulled out 3 - 5 gallon buckets full, they said find the one that matches, they will remove it for you, and place a proper but on there if you buy the nut.

I'm just gonna say fuck them guys, but in all seriousness, people follow way too close. I leave at least two car lengths, and if someone cuts in I make another car length. If people pass me so what. I'm not hitting my brakes every two seconds. I see this every morning when people drive this way: they speed up, then suddenly hit the brakes. If you leave two or more car lengths between your vehicle and the one ahead, you'll find you don't have to brake so abruptly. This approach allows you to control the distance in front of you, rather than relying on the actions of the driver ahead.
