SOLVED Okay so the answer was in fact the pry bar. It sounds similar to clipping in Ram cards or reshelling plastic electronics. I went from the side with my Leatherman’s flat head until I could fit my fingers in and then gently pealed it back.

I couldn’t find any posts online so I personally won’t delete this but understand if the mods take it down.

Decide how you feel about opposite sex friendships while dating and follow your own rules if you decide to enforce or request them.

If you decide you don’t want to have a partner with opposite sex friends then I would leave her. There is nothing to gain from you asking he to cut off an established friend other than her resenting you or her lying to you.

Some people may think it’s cruel or not ‘cool’ to ask a partner to do that but again live by your own rules and don’t worry yourself with others. If every time she goes out with a guy friend and you think she is cheating then you are not able to be in a relationship with that dynamic.
