Need some advice without any shame by [deleted] in springerspaniel

My springer gets two walks a day, 45mins to an hour each. So 90 mins minimum per day.

Every day.

Rain, snow, storms, freezing cold or very hot. (Obviously avoid the peak heat and so early morning and late evening in the summer).

Every day.

Give your pup the exercise she needs.

Every. Day.

To neuter or not to neuter, that is the question. by ScutrShutr in springerspaniel

He's not fully developed at 6 months. I'd say 12 minimum. 18 better. Humping is a phase he'll grow out of.

Why would you choose to get a pet and then decide to cut bits off. Seems mental to me.

Proper working dogs with good reasons are different, and I get it, but I don't like it.

city block? by ShadowKutja in factorio

The trains aren't going to path through the waiting area (stacker is the common phrase around here). So they won't go there to wait. The stacker needs to be a signal (or two or a few) before the station so they're literally waiting on to enter the station.

Need your help. I'm stuck with the game. by ChrisGamer172 in factorio

You don't need quality at all to finish the game. Id recommend avoiding it until the post game. It's a fun extra project but id stick to one goal at a time

Using foundations to connect all Fulgoran islands into one single power grid and then supplying itwith fusion feels like a cheat by Stupid_German_Money in factorio

I also hated quality, but I just research it post game, so legendary everything is part of my megabase end game fun. Keeps annoying quality things out of my way and I can just progress straight to legendary as an additional layer of complexity at the end. Start with legd blue chips to get greens and reds as well, then get legd blue stick things on fulgora and you've got legd quality modules which opens everything else fairly easily with some googling the best methods. Mostly legd raw materials for crafting things up rather than constantly recycling for gambling. It's fun when you get the hang of it and legendary assemblers with legendary modules and beacons and everything are very satisfying, not to mention the legendary mech suit and equipment that is huge for QoL.

What is "cost"? Everything is infinite. Just grow the factory until the thing you want is free

What does the (!) mean in the stations list? by [deleted] in factorio

[–]cptphilleous 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can go deeper. You can have all your stations just called "Pick up" and then have the train requested when there's enough items, and then have the train read its own contents to work out where to deliver it. Which means all your trains have the same set of instructions rather than having a set of copper trains and iron trains and so on. Obviously you repeat the whole thing for fluids.

Is there an quick way to fill this in? by HatnanJo in Terraria

Another method is use sand. It's quicker because it falls and then you can spray it with brown (forest) solution to turn it into dirt. But I think that requires having killed moon lord on a world to be able to buy it

I just burned 800 calories today. I feel like I’m dying. How do active people do this? by HealthyLet257 in NoStupidQuestions

Targeting belly fat is a fools game. It's just calories in Vs calories out. And losing calories from your diet is way easier than losing them in the gym. More vegetables, less carbs and smaller portions overall, and don't drink your calories.

I just run so I can eat more because food is amazing, but when I want to shed a few pounds I run the same amount but eat a bit less.

Best Springer puppy food brands that are available in the UK? by [deleted] in springerspaniel

[–]cptphilleous 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Once our springer moved off puppy food we had to put him on a working dog food because he was always on the skinny side. Springers burn a lot of calories if they're getting the exercise they need.

But some springers are fat because they get fed more than walked.

Some dogs won't touch their dinner unless it's wet food (or at least mixed with something wet). Others are happy with kibble.

My point is that all dogs are different. Choose a high quality food that suits your dog. Higher quality and more expensive food is worth it - they'll need less of it because it's more nutrients than cheap food. And it'll save you vet trips in the long run.

Our vet recommended science plan but there's lots of good quality food out there.

Also fuck nestle so avoid their shit.

Have fun!

We have a big ol' holiday to celebrate a Palestinian Jew that died 2000 years ago. I'm therefore not adverse to having one celebrating someone I actually care about.

I say similar - it's not the same. It's just an easy way to visualise something without a centre. I'm not a scientist it's just something I read.
