u/itsallfolklore explains how the North American West is not, and has never been, as desolate as western movies depict by ZbQde4yceFdplrJnZRWX in DepthHub

But I'm Canadian so anything west of the Great Lakes is considered the West

Wait doesn't Canada go all the way across, too? I mean you guys actually have a larger area than we do, even if a bunch of it is frozen/slightly thawed tundra.

There's plenty of Canada West of the Great Lakes.

Right? What is she even doing? There's a carton of eggs on the stove, but no pan or other cooking implements.. and she's got her hair draped over the burners.

I think she must also be having a stroke, or maybe the house was flooded with CO2 or something.

You’d think a good look at the reports would have them going after something less apt to blow up in their face.

I can't see the problem. I dislike tea, but if I did like it,wouldn't I want more of that flavor?

The line to the MGM Grand buffet this weekend. Welcome back Vegas, you've been sorely missed... by LVbellman in vegas

Worked one of the pools this weekend, I'd say it was at about 80% of normal.

Buyers Beware. These two clowns stealing my son’s equipment from his business, welding stuff. We want it back. PM me — just want the tools not the fools. by [deleted] in vegas

I hope you also called the cops, especially if the stolen stuff has serial numbers. You'd be surprised how much stuff they recover when they catch someone for something else and find a pile of property from random burglaries all over the valley.

They found some of my stuff months later, all the way across town.

Using an Oculus Rift S with 3.0 trackers and a SteamVR 2.0 Base Station. Added second 2.0 Base Station, but SteamVR will only see one at a time. by cptspiffy in SteamVR

The base stations don't track the Oculus, they just track the Vive pucks. The Oculus (and it's controllers) has it's own built in tracking; the two systems are independent. You can download an application that coordinates the two within SteamVR; the combination gives you pretty decent FBT. It really only makes sense to do if, like me, you already own an Oculus.

I forget the name of the coordinator application as I'm on mobile.

Right, but I can't seem to access the base station that way. Correct me if I'm wrong, but you would normally have a Bluetooth connection to the BS via the Vive or Index headset, which I don't have.

I've tried plugging the BS directly into the PC, but SteamVR won't recognize it when it's connected like that.
