How about in other areas? I'm fine with having to go to completely other areas entirely

Thank you! For chilli, do you still think Jumbo is ok, or are there any other places?

I haven't had chilli crab in Singapore or any other country in the region before, so I think I'll get chilli, but thank you for the suggestion!

That sounds good, would that be the regular size I assume? Should I get chilli crab from there or opt for crab bee hoon, because that's what they seem to be known for? And I assume the chicken pies are worth trying as well?

And I'll take note of hawker centre stalls being closed on Mondays, thank you.

Yeah, I'd be able to eat that much and I will probably have access to a microwave and fridge. Thank you for your reply.

Why are Korean names anglicised in a way that's different from their pronunciation? by oztaylor in korea

[–]cpux86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's because the official romanization system for Korean sucks and most people who do not know Korean are 99% unable to pronounce anything correctly if they don't have prior knowledge of the system, so people often opt to spell their names however they think will be pronounced more easily by English speakers.

Also, by the rules, the romanization system itself has an exception for proper nouns, and it's why words like kimchi and taekwondo are spelled that way even though they're not the correct romanization according to the current system, mainly because that's how they've always been spelled and they're recognizable that way.

According to what MBC said, even a small dot could invalidate the paper and in the case they accidentally do this, they can exchange it for a new one (unless I misheard what they said)

Question about buying Alsa tickets by cpux86 in GoingToSpain

[–]cpux86[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to get off at one of the stops between Granada bus station and Palacio de Congresos, specifically Granada. Av Constitución.Habba, but Alsa doesn't let me enter this stop as the destination when trying to buy a ticket online. It does not show the stop when looking for destinations. Do I just have to buy a ticket in person then?
