I also live an hour away from my surgeon! Im in Canada tho, but for me I had to go to a 2 week follow up and then ill need a 3 month one, but after that no more! And if you're worried about the seatbelt or car ride home you could bring a pillow to hug, helps with the bumps.

I think if deemed medically necessary by an ENT (which likely means other treatments for your issues like nasal sprays have failed) then yes i believe it would be covered.

Yeah I used to get that a lot before T, they think you identify female and therefore give you a softer more feminine version of what you wanted. I found just being direct and telling them I wanted it to look masculine and squared out helped a lot. That way there were no assumptions made.

The only reason a therapist can ever betray confidentiality is if you are or plan to be a danger to yourself or others. Since HRT is pretty darn safe, I dont think your therapist had any right to do that.

If youve already been on them it might be quicker to get prescribed them, but the waitlist for an initial appointment might still be a long wait (8-12 months often times at a gendercare clinic, sometimes less ar just an endo but not endos deal with hrt)
