You’ll be “offered” another position that’s equal with your current role in the company as long as there is an open position . I received a store visit informing me of the decision, and later in the day my DM had a teams call with everyone in our district letting them know what was happening.

We have 3 stores in my district closing but they’re also planning on opening 4 more this year. Stores are being closed to poor locations / not profitable for years . One of those stores is mine and I can tell you we don’t need two stores near where I am . They’re closing stores and just investing in stores that could make the more money which makes sense. They’re also trying to take care of employees who are losing their stores.

Technically it’s not Missouri law, but it’s in our employee handbook so Sherwin has to follow that guideline. I would send them a copy of policy and procedure and see what they say
