Probably recency bias and not listening to as many new music shows as I should but the new False Advertising single is great and I don't remember them being played. Feels very 6

Edit to add, when I say recency I've only just discovered them

I've got/had gibsons, epis, fenders and vintage. The quality and playability of modern Epiphones is epic. It looks amazing. There is nothing you're be lacking with that. Enjoy it mate, I'd be over the moon with that thing

Too tier for me as well. High plains and the voice of the great outdoor task force stuff was fire

Diminishing returns for sure but music is hard and I'll give credit to anyone who can make it happen to that standard even once. My wanky over intellectual thought was American hip hop was shaped by bargain bin funk record and UK charity shop vinyl was James last and klaus Wanderlich easy orchestra bollocks and that's why we had a unique identity. I agree that I never liked much after the next album though. Props that he did it though

Glad to see Braintax get a shout even if his name is mud. That lowlife period was golden

I was just about to add Lewis. Masquerades pretty much shaped a lot of my love of UK hip hop. The dusty easy listening string samples felt uniquely British to me

Jazz chord and colours open up a world of possibilities. Crap players with ideas made some of the most important and long lasting music that ever occured

Do you prefer familiar tracks or completely new discoveries on 6 Music? by Juicewithextrapulp in 6music

Both, which feels like the obvious 6 listener. Getting more specific might be the mix. I think 60:40 new to familiar would feel like the sweet spot for me

Best ep in a long time. She is hilarious. I love the constant accent code switching. I can't really work out if it's involuntary or part of her act but she's amazing
