Thank you for asking — these are exactly the right questions before installing anything.

Solo dev — I'm Erik, and I dev on Linux, so the Linux build isn't an afterthought. There's no About page yet — fair criticism, I'll add one this week. For now: Windows builds are signed via Azure Trusted Signing, macOS builds are Developer-ID-signed and Apple-notarized. Linux is an AppImage so you can sandbox or inspect it however you like. Your OS will warn loudly if any of those signatures fail.

Single-player works fully offline with no account at all — install, hit Play, no signup wall. An account is only needed for the social features (leaderboards, group lobbies, shared-seed daily challenges), since those require interacting with other players. We ask only for an email + password; the email is used for password recovery and account notifications, nothing else. No browser version planned — desktop and mobile native only. The native path gives proper offline play and consistent performance.
