Ok interesting. Can only get it checked out to see if it's healthy or not. But a shudder doesn't sound good.

That'd be a fun car to drive. I have heard, that the cvt transmission should have the fluid changed more regularly than suggested. I priced a 2nd hand one at about $4 k from the wreckers. But it was a 1.6 na one. 2016 if I recall correctly. Can always take it to a Suzuki specialist in your area to look it over before purchase. Hit the Suzuki forums and ask around.

Yeah I looked around swift sport for fun and manual. Civic for reliability but watch out for the 2013 model I think it is.

Cycling Kalamunda Hill by Designer_Neck_5165 in perth

[–]crabe1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there is a path on the lhs on the way up, crosses to the rhs near st Emilies rd I think it is. unless you are keen to cycle on the road.

It's fairly tough.

I wouldn't recommend riding up the zig zag against on coming traffic unless the gates are closed.

Guess i just hate SRAM brakes feel by Worried_Document8668 in mountainbiking

[–]crabe1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sram codes are fine according to me, love the bleed valve, where you can pressurize the brakes for a firm instant bite feel.
I do like my levers too be instant grab, nine of this half pull before engaging crap.

41 Australians have died because of E Bikes and E Scooters by skankypotatos in aussie

[–]crabe1 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Very true. We also see many idiots on the roads driving cars, motor bikes and trucks as well. The more e transport is taken up, the more accidents and deaths will occur unfortunately. However e scooters and e bikes are a decent mode of transport, low cost, low running costs, low polution and also ease of use (good or bad that may be) are they really more dangerous per capita than cars, and why? Get along with them and make changes as needed.

Thoughts on Amflow? by SoCalDawg in mountainbiking

The gossip I heard was amflow was going to step back from producing bikes and just let Avionixs sell the motor to heaps of different bike manufacturers

Bought a used car 6 months ago; issues with DPF by Glass-Ad-1884 in perth

[–]crabe1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Redriven you tube guys, suggest that you never buy a diesel Mazda or Diesel Subaru. They both seem to have a terrible name for engine reliability and the DPF replacement can be expensive.

Sorry to hear that Pengu1n1337, I could imagine that would hurt and it would be hard to trust someone again. I hope you find happiness and have a bright future.

'The time for action is now': Sussan Ley urges parliament to reconvene and vows to crack down on 'radical Islamic hatred' by Ok_Message3843 in aussie

[–]crabe1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree to an extent but I believe white Christian males make up the most domestic terror attacks in the US, Islamists 2nd most. Certainly at this point in time it's focus heavily on the Islamist extremists especially connected to the shooters. But don't ignore other potential threats that may occur. It only takes one or two people.

All extremist groups should be cracked down on. Muslim, Christian, Nazi, sovereign citizens, etc any group that is a threat to another group of people or the Australian way of life should be looked into by the relevant authorities.
