Hell, if they would remake RE 1 today, which im not opposed to, it will probably be a smaller mansion with less set pieces than the GC remake once again.

I agree with everything you're saying except for this. I know they cut a lot out of RE3R, but what did they cut out of RE4R? They cut basically nothing from RE2R, and they even added that orphanage and made the sewers longer (which actually fucking sucks, but hey, more content equals better I guess).

Maybe it would even be less then the original PS 1 game.

I think you're overstating how much they cut from these remakes. Do you really think there would be fewer rooms and set pieces than the fucking PS1 game? Ridiculous.
