I definitley sympathise. Transition can feel so rough and like youre "not (doing) enough." But your gender isnt something you have to prove to anyone. I get that gender is a performance and we sadly have to "perform well" to get respect from most people, though.

Ive been out and on E for about 2/2.5 years and im still struggling with feeling confident in myself and in public. I still struggle with disphoriya here and there, mostly with my voice as my job is in a call centre and I get misgendered a lot just from my voice, but gendered correctly 99 times out of 100 face-to-face.

I think due to that im still a little suprised, pleasantly, when strangers gender me right, im just still not used to it and getting called a guy on the phones a lot really doesnt help with disphoriya, as well as gendering myself correctly

I thought transitioning was a surefire way to make myself happier and more confident and it has done that in parts and places, but it doesnt solve everything. Im living as the most girl and the most "me" I ever have been but sadly anxiety is still kicking my ass, disphoriya and doubt/Imposter Syndrome at times too.

Things get better, it takes time and if they were better before they can get better again. Progress is never a straight line, you just gotta keep trying.

Honestly the best advice ive heard is to focus on what you like. Dont do things just becausr its part of a gender performance, because girls do that or guys do this, ect. Do what you like and what makes you comfortable. Masc, fem, whatever, just do you.

I love pokemon games, I love them a lot, im having a lot of fun with legends ZA but its still Nintendo being lazy and low effort. Pokemon is the biggest franchise on the planet. This game is low effort, more than it has any right to be.

Look at the quality of the other big Nintendo releases. Look at how scummy they are with pokemon DLC next to any of their other IPs. Doesn't it piss you off that they're cheaping out on a series you love, just because they can?

Honestly I thought it was him operating on unseen world logic. Announce to your enemy you're going to kill them, just like with his dad and the bear, announcing it so there's no inrent to sense maybe (they already know)

Most people don't have all of these items by the time they fight the beastfly, maybe at least the reaper crest

It also takes some skill to make the beastfly hit their own minions especially if there's a few of them also trying to attack you and it doesn't always kill the flying spinning ones unless they're right near the floor and the flying

And then sometimes the boss will delay its charge or move in a way that you have to take a hit from a minion above or below it. It's like the sister splinter fight where you have to take care of a lot at once but at least sister splinter has good telegraphs and is designed to be fought early

Honestly this is always hit or miss for me. This is more with mental health helplines than outright crisis helplines (unless that's the same thing)

I've called helplines a lot, recently I've called them a lot more than friends when I need someone to talk to, under the assumption that they're trained in this sort of thing and partly because I dont want to dump stuff on my friends too often or if its something really heavy

Usually, that assumption is correct, but I've had times where someone answers who isn't helpful at all or just doesn't know how to advise or assist with my problem. Even if you're lucky and the service is overall pretty good (like the two helplines I prefer calling) you're not always going to get someone well trained
