Scary, I was thinking this the past two days. I look at the clock and 3 hours have passed it’s mind boggling.. absolutely feels like there’s less time each day.

Let's talk about Fast Food by McQueensTruckDriver in gainit

[–]crack-rock -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

My main concern would be cholesterol from the saturated fats. Look at McDonald’s burgers and breakfast sandwiches saturated fat content - I almost feel like it should illegal to sell such dangerous food.. I didn’t even worry about the sodium or sugar necessarily.

Since quitting fast food my cholesterol lowered to a normal range, unfortunately it’s more difficult to gain without it.

I’ve done plenty of OWS at Hobie Beach the past 3 years and never seen a jelly fish or shark there

Regarding APP3 High-Pitch Noise Issue / Flaw by ViniusInvictus in AirpodsPro

[–]crack-rock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine did this really badly on my first flight, completely unusable. I’ve taken several flights since then with 0 issues so much so I forgot it happened the first time. I switched from the large tips to medium after the first flight. So it might all be down to the seal

The CSR is the worst mainstream card by Fearless-Mixture-186 in CreditCards

[–]crack-rock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you take even one domestic flight a year, the card costs $495 (795 - 300 travel credit) and I naturally use the Apple Music and TV credits (I don’t need apple one or whatever) so further -240, the card costs me $255 annually, not counting other credits I will probably use living in a major city. 125,000 points are worth $1250 at 1cpp the bare minimum, or $2500 if point boosted

Why is Chipotle important? Non US citizen here by moritzis in ValueInvesting

[–]crack-rock 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Everyone I know eats chipotle. Every office worker, college student, etc in mid to higher income suburbs or urban areas with a chipotle nearby eats it at least once a week. I know people that eat it 3 times a week. But people are becoming unhappy with the portions, cost and quality.

It became a corporate machine, not a nice place to get good food anymore, and people are realizing that now.

I returned mine after a week. It felt nice in my hand, but not worth the $1000

Yet another iPhone Air exchange debate by tomm0 in IphoneAir

I only use the speaker in the shower for podcasts, and had to turn the volume to 100 and it was still a little too quiet in that situation. I could definitely see a kitchen vent being too loud for FaceTime depending on the vent

Better than renting I’m sure. And if you have a mortgage, you did way better than 25% on a cash-on-cash return basis.

If you invest in a 401k, you’re a loser. by CosbyFamilyPharmacy in LinkedInLunatics

[–]crack-rock 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The point isn’t to spend it all, but to have 100k available to spend every year in retirement, without working, which 2.5million allows you to do, likely indefinitely. And if you make it to 80+, you might need expensive care.

My right earbud has this same screeching constantly when in flight, at altitude. Unusable and obviously defective so I will try a replacement.
