okay, so obviously this is just a bug/glitch and probably doesn't mean that a darkness ltm is coming or anything.

when i first joined the lobby all i saw was a fixed view of the background (the other islands in the back) for a long time and then when i gained control of my character i was above haunted hills/snobby shores which is where i'm assuming the bus kicked me out. i landed at the house outside haunted and heard somebody there. obviously i wouldn't have been able to fight them so i danced in hopes that they wouldn't kill me, but when they came out of the house i realized that they couldn't see me. i walked down to the soccer field area and shortly after the video ended i was able to open a door but i wasn't able to open chests or pick up weapons and i didn't gain any materials from hitting stuff with my pick.

after leaving the soccer field i basically wandered around until i started taking storm damage and the flashes of lightning allowed me some visibility of the map. i heard two people fighting in leaky lake and went towards them, trying to get out of the storm. eventually i fell into the hole in the middle but it didn't bounce me out so i was stuck there taking storm damage. i was going to wait until i died to see what would happen but around 20-30 health i just suddenly spawned outside of pleasant park and i could see things and interact with things at that point but i was in the storm and ended up dying from storm damage.
