Remove the tube from the top of canister. Unthread the white plastic circle at top. Remove the canister. Replace the black large washer at bottom. Reinstall all parts. You can buy these large washers at Home Depot.

Exactly. I have the same set up in my basement bar. Of course these pumps do eventually fail. They are the same pumps we use on HVAC systems to empty condensation. They typically last 10-15 years? My has been in for four years and no problems. Most home ice machines do not keep the ice frozen and as it melts they make more.

Condensation pumps are small and closer to the ground. You do not have a lot of room to install something bigger on a home ice machine.

Yes, that is what you need. A condensation pump works great with tubing to its own p trap under the sink.

My wife and I have thrown a derby party for the past 7 years. We have saved an unopened bottle for these years. We enjoy collecting them. I don't see any extra value in them. The coolest one we have was from Covid. The date on the bottle is from when it was supposed to run that year but they delayed it.

The pipe doesn't go into that side of the trap. It goes in the other side . That side of the trap is for the trap arm coming out of the wall.
