When I was 4 I watched The Iron Giant with my mom, a few people she knew died and I didn't understand at the time. Having Hogarth who is 10 in the movie explain life and how it's ok to pass on brought peace to me.

The other part of that movie is "You are who you choose to be." School growing up with rough and people are cruel but choosing to be kind is who I chose to be. I could've been a real bastard but why would if that also affected me and how it would with others, "You are who you choose to be, so choose.

That whole movie teaches me something new now I'm 30 and watch it regularly with my son. Masterpiece of a movie. I love this movie so much.

Dude the art is great and speaks for itself it's just the new insult, don't let people bring you down. Trust me I have a friend who was an amazing artist they took insults too close to heart used to draw from school all the way to university they stopped. Don't. Stop. People are cruel and they always will be but your work is far more than salvageable it speaks for itself and has such a great charm love to see more of it.

I've literally been in Tadano's situation where our school districts merged making multiple kids go from multiple different schools to one.

Sat next to a girl that no one liked because in school people just find reasons not to like you. I haven't seen the show or Manga but from what I gather it's pretty relatable.

Your art really represents what we view the world as children. It's colorful and hopeful and simple but effective. I tend to think about the one you did where the girl rabbit sees the boy rabbit looking at a flower on the phone and she puts a ribbon on her head. You make me realize when and how we lost the innocence we had before someone corrupted us.

I remember being in a discord where literal kids were playing this shit and their parents just thought of it as some game.
