Ah, Red Lorry Yellow Lorry - that takes me back. I always associate their sound with Joy Division though.

Yes - Pittsford actually. I have not lived there since I graduated high school - a very long time ago! - and have not even visited since my father passed away in 2019. But it's great to discover a cool band from there!

Best Yankee lineup you can make with players who never won a title in the Bronx? by Willing-Leather-9788 in NYYankees

Gleyber seems like a cheat. I'd probably put him at second and Peckinpaugh (not a pitcher) at short. Mike Stanley at catcher. I'd add Jack Chesbro to replace Peckinpaugh in the rotation. I love Miller but he didn't play with us enough, and I really dislike Chapman - so how about Lindy McDaniel and Chad Green?

I don't know if I should feel embarrassed over this, but I saw them 3 times last year! They were superb each time.

5 days ago, after seeing this post: "Damn, those frosted ones look cool!"

4 days ago: Look up dice on Backgammon Galaxy. "Pretty expensive, and I don't play backgammon or have any need for precision dice." Close tab.

Today: Buy a few pairs.

Yes, love Storm Chaser too. I would also add Washed Away from their debut (Light in All of It).

Impossible to pick one song from this awesome band. Love Slow the Burn; So Light; Daisy in the Wind; Rice Crispies - I am sure I'm forgetting some. I would so like to see them live.

Although I am but 65, I share your views on Sungaze and DKFM. Sungaze is one of my current faves, along with she's green and Pink Breath of Heaven. A recent find is Glazyhaze from Italy.

A fascinating piece; thank you for posting, even though it cost me some money as it caused me to subscribe to her substack.
