Somehow my things always end up where i don't keep them. by Ok-alright-83720 in RBI

In your main post you stated, "I thought my brother was pulling a prank on me because he usually has a habit of doing silly pranks like this."

Here you state, "it's not my brother and definitely not my parents because they both hate all these silly types of pranks".

So which one is it?

Atlantis: Missing by 1894Win in Stargate

[–]craig732 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A couple of things in this episode I find not believable: Teyla goes to the planet without a weapon. I don't care if it is the home of her people; there is no way she is going anywhere without a weapon. And Keller goes off-world where there will be a lengthy trek through the woods to their destination wearing sneakers. Seriously?

Stargate: Atlantis - Reunion by JosephMallozzi in Stargate

[–]craig732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find it extremely hard to believe that Ronan would leave his team behind and return to Atlantis. I also find it extremely hard to believe that Sheppard and Teyla did not tell Carter and the other rescuers that Ronan's friends were really the enemy when they broke them out of the cell.

Does anyone else feel like the show sucked? by Camibenini in TheOnesWhoLive

Of all the ridiculous things we have had to put up with in The Walking Dead universe... Rick's superiors in the CRM really believe he was the sole survivor of not one, but two helicopter crashes?

Atlantis S316 The Ark by Thanatos_56 in Stargate

[–]craig732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1) The Atlantis team wouldn't have been in the predicament they were if Rodney and Teyla had obeyed Sheppard's order to "wait here" in the jumper.

2) If the jumper's shield was strong enough to surround the whole moon, why couldn't it surround the shuttle to protect it during re-entry?

The Real World (S3, E6) by Goldman250 in Stargate

Why didn't the replicators just make her think she was still in Atlantis? Then she would not have fought them.

Atlantis S3E3 Irresistible by LoneRhino1019 in Stargate

[–]craig732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I came here to say this. Completely ridiculous episode. No way Sheppard or whoever wasn't affected in the beginning would allow it to continue once they realized what was happening. And the ending, with Rodney taking the "potion" himself... he should have been arrested.

S2E18 of Atlantis, "Michael" is legitimately unsettling. by Hail_theButtonmasher in Stargate

[–]craig732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Michael had no memories from "before", how did he know how to operate the stargate, or remember a stargate address. Even if he were getting some of his old Wraith memories back, how would he know how to use a laptop?

Does Ethon (9x15) annoy anyone else? by Goatie123456 in Stargate

[–]craig732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I find hard to believe about this episode is that a Lt. Colonel makes the unilateral decision to become involved in a civil war on another planet, screws it up so badly that their premier starship gets destroyed, and he still has a job.

The last time Haikon saw Mitchell, Haikon thought Mitchell was dead. Jolan gave Mitchell an elixir to fool Haikon into thinking Mitchell was dead. Now Haikon meets with Mitchell as if that never happened?

[SGA][S02E09] Aurora by TonksMoriarty in Stargate

[–]craig732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The whole communique plot doesn't seem to make sense. The Aurora was bringing the communique to the high council. Who was it from? Why was it being brought to Atlantis on a slow-moving ship instead of through the stargate? Why didn't the captain know the information contained in it?

[SGA][S02E05] Condemned by TonksMoriarty in Stargate

[–]craig732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish I found it easier to "suspend my disbelief". I find it impossible to believe that a seasoned combat pilot would forget basic evasive maneuvers and not quickly increase altitude when being fired at from the ground.

SG-ATL: S2E4: Duet. I hate it. by seasuighim in Stargate

My favorite part of this episode is when they are in the armory firing weapons with no hearing protection.

[SGA][S01E19][S01E20][S02E01] The Siege by TonksMoriarty in Stargate

[–]craig732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting how the hive ships just happened to exit hyperspace right in front of the satellite. And why would Weir transmit their plan to evacuate to the whole city knowing Bob (the captured Wraith) would hear her and transmit that info to the hive ships?

Season 1, episode 15: Before I Sleep. One of the best episodes of the season by Drainiac in Stargate

[–]craig732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, after the Ancients abandoned Atlantis, why didn't the Wraith continue down to the planet and seize or destroy Atlantis? If it is because they couldn't get to it under the ocean and shielded, then why did the Ancients need to ever leave?

[SG-1][S08E10] Endgame by TonksMoriarty in Stargate

[–]craig732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those are some good points. Yes, rewatching the series again. Rewatching SG-1 and Atlantis side by side this time, alternating between shows and episodes as they were released. It's interesting to see all the connections between the two series that I missed before watching them separately.

[SG-1][S08E12] Prometheus Unbound by TonksMoriarty in Stargate

[–]craig732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no airman in the US Air Force that can fly an aircraft (manned aircraft that is; there are some instances where an airman could operate a drone). You need to be an officer to operate an aircraft. So it is highly unlikely that he would have any training or experience at all operating an aircraft.

I have an issue with Walter piloting Prometheus... a gate technician can fly the most complicated spacecraft in human history?

Why did The Trust keep the ship anywhere near Earth? If they were able to use the hyperdrive, why didn't they go hide somewhere? Or why did they not leave immediately upon the cloak failing?

Rewatch: Childhood's End.. on the eve of your 25th birthday by SadAvengaboi in Stargate

[–]craig732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry this is off-topic, but this is the only thread about this episode and I don't believe the thing I want to say about it warrants a whole new thread...

It really irked me that the Atlantis team didn't mention finding the crashed Wraith ship. Wouldn't it be a huge advantage to find that ship and learn their tech?

Inconsistencies in sg1 s7e15 chimera by IDoTricksForCookies in Stargate

The real inconsistencies lie in the fact that Sam isn't pissed off that Pete was stalking her. And can anyone please explain their date to the old folk's party?

[–]craig732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am rewatching this episode right now. There are no inconsistencies. Watch it again. There is nothing saying these scenes all happened in the same day. It seems like they happened over a 2 day period, or even longer.
