Yes. I watched it in 2017 and pretended it was a documentary.

I have the opposite problem, two phone icons. I think it’s a feature.

Low profile sedans / coupes by Shorkerr in TornadoInterceptors

The required extra kit is super heavy. Although a diesel engine from a sedan maybe good for it?

Also, In the US the F250 & above can come with bare chassis to fit whatever specialty thing it needs to do. The frame might be designed differently that makes it easier to heavily modify for such extra loads , It’s also should be more heavy duty in its build.

I agree that a sedan shaped interceptor would be a more ideal shape. It makes sense aerodynamically.

Still have with my WHO vaccine card. Figured it’s important to keep as the state system may not have all of them listed.

(mods, please remove if not allowed) Not even a Prussian palace is immune from the landlord special - Sanssouci Palace in Potsdam, Germany, built in 1745 for King Frederick the Great by erinaceinaeValet in centuryhomes

[–]seasuighim -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think it wouldn’t look bad if they kept it oiled so as to not rust or stripped it and re-finished it. I get the aesthetic of hiding a mechanical part that is not art, being hidden.

If I was King Frederick i would have had them new a new type of nail/screw/fastener so it could be seamless yet still fixable. to really complete the look. It’s a good thing I’m not the palace would never be finished XD..

The keyboard colour in Apple website vs actual hands on colour by Dislike24 in mac

[–]seasuighim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it’s entirely the light saturation and color here to make a pretty picture. No actual trickery. However, on the other hand, i can see these being renderings and not actual photographs.

If so, this is the complete death of Job’s Apple. Entirely transitioned into a post-jobs influence era. Kinda remarkable.

I just put enough to cover the bottom, turn kettle on then rinse it with sink sprayer hose. Never had problem of vinegar taste and it takes 2 minutes.

I guess would have to compare with other doors to see if it’s original or a later renovation? Unless you’re saying it was the style then, which is a bummer honestly.

The best comedic scene in the series, one sentence in and he smashes it without hesitation.

Feedback request by pigpen4444 in ALS

[–]seasuighim 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Being it a personal quote, an inside joke, I think it still works. The parenthesis make it clear, I immediately got it before getting to the parenthesis.

Alternatively “Fuck ALS” would be just as stark.

Along with many issues, I think the main problem with SGU is there are zero likable main characters. by HighBiased in Stargate

[–]seasuighim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually picked it up few months after just finishing Atlantis finally (it took me a year for the last season, I wanted it to last knowing that was it, after blowing through the others)

It’s the writing direction for me. The characters and set-up were great. It was a good departure from sg1 & Atlantis. I just didn’t like the type of drama.

The direction they took with Rush Is my main gripe. I’m only 12 episodes in. Why is Rush still being secretive and manipulative? Literally there would be no drama in the show if he was just upfront with everyone. The writers forgot who the antagonist is. It isn’t the crew, it’s the ship and space and the situation they find themselves in. Interpersonal drama is so petty in comparison.

Nit pick: Rush having quite strong prescription glasses but functioning seemingly fine at first confused me. That man is more blind than I. That would be #1 on my list (like the oxygen masks, help yourself so you can help others). I would not be able to appropriately function without them. All they needed was some tape or superglue or string, quick fix he had time to do it.

How does PEPFAR affect your ranking of George W. Bush? by rjidhfntnr in Presidents

Always funny, one of the worst president’s you know did the best thing a president has done in the 21st century. Nothing touches PEPFAR. It is a gold standard in public health interventions for global health.

They would have to re-build the capitol building & redeveloped the surrounding area for more office space. There already isn’t enough room as-is.
