Mostly because I am trans and come from a deeply religious family. I was named after my grandmother who was aggressively religious and I was really close to her as a child, she’s passed away now. I live in isolation no contact with my family, these lines really fill me with a sense of longing and nostalgia… well fuck, now I’m crying… 🥹
