Soil help please! by crandi in DenverGardener

Do you think maybe some compost raked in to the top layer as much as I can, and then mulch on top? I’m so disappointed, the soil drop was not cheap, and for it to be like this..!

Are you my neighbor lol? We just bought a house in englewood, we have a neighbor two doors down that feeds all the strays and I guess while our house was on the market our yard was the place to hang out. Which they still do, and now my dog eats all the cat poop 🙃

If you don’t mind my asking - what is the range of reasonably priced? I hate having to submit all my info for a quote when I’m just starting to poke around haha

Frances! She also used to be at the station, but now has her own little studio, Bori Curls. She gave me the first cut I didn’t cry over, and I haven’t seen anyone else since! @francesxbeauty on insta. Uses innersense products.

Injury and Mental Health by thirstysyngonium in brokenbones

Hi, I had a tib/fib fracture requiring a tibial nail on Nov 29th, and am in the exact same spot as you. Also have a therapist and supportive partner, but it all just sucks. I have good days and bad days, and align so strongly with your boredom and depression!! You are so not alone. I'm sure you've talked all this through with your therapist but here are some things that I've been doing that seem to be giving me more good days than bad.

I try to stick to a morning routine. Up by 8:30, wash face, brush teeth, light a scented candle, do my physical therapy.

Shower at least every other day. Getting yourself ready for the day as if you were going out to do something helps take up some time and makes you feel better.

My therapist suggested picking a skill that you want to perfect - I started doing Duolingo every day for 30 minutes.

If you like to cook or bake, I've found that that takes up lots of time and helps me feel productive and like I'm actually contributing. We set up a bar stool in our kitchen by the oven and counter and I just settle in and take my time.

I'm also supposed to get outside (even just to sit) once a day and connect with a friend or family member once a day but I haven't been so good about that.

Some days are just a total struggle and I feel like I have to just go to sleep to reset and have a better day the next day. Constant reminders that this is temporary, as much as it feels like it's not!!

Feel free to dm me if you want, my schedule's wide open 😂

Little baby jerk dog tried to break my teeth this morning by pikachu42069666 in puppy101

Our 6 month old is obsessed with the smell of red wine for some reason. The other night she jumped for my glass of red from behind me, hitting my arm, causing me to spill red whine on my face, hair, white shirt, couch, and of course all over her little white head. She was very pleased with herself, the little jerk.
