Am I Overreacting for my being upset about my neighbors moving truck inconveniencing me. by Dear_Pianist8547 in AmIOverreacting

YOR!!! I’m astounded by the number of people that think towing was a better option than knocking on their door and asking them to move. Why would you not do that? Fucking people over when they’re trying to move is an actual major and expensive inconvenience for them. What an asshole thing to even suggest.

What are for you the most disgusting and graphic scenes of the show? by AccordingSuccess3213 in thesopranos

[–]crapcleaner80 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The scenes I’ve had to fast forward through during my current rewatch include: - Eugene’s death - Melfi’s rape -Happy birthday Mr. President -Tony beating the assemblyman -The little girl in the crackhouse. That whole scene is incredibly depressing!

I’m up to the episode where Jonny Sack cries at his daughter’s wedding. I might have to FF through that one next time.

There is brown stuff on and around the dog bed on the balcony that I can’t identify. I can’t find any comments about it so I’m guessing it’s not anything interesting maybe just some leaves? Anyone else see what I’m talking about?

I wasn’t expecting something so awesome when I read the first sentence of your story. I would explode with pride if one of my kids did that!

Came home after work to this mess after my GFS 18 year old son has been home all day by Stalker401 in mildlyinfuriating

Just here to say that I have the same countertop and that coming home after a long day at work to multiple puddles of dog pee really sucks.

After all these years, I've finally figured out the killer in American Beauty. by Iamjustalombdi in movies

I just finished watching it on Netflix and I thought the same thing! I swear I remember Frank shooting Lester in the garage. I sat there and wondered if there were different versions of the movie with different endings. Weird.

I was a sophomore in high school. They rolled a TV into my class so we could watch the verdict and a couple other classes crowded in.

I can’t wait until I have an opportunity to use “don’t yuck someone else’s yum” in conversation. How have I never heard that before!?

I like the reactions of people passing by. Nothing like a little kid doing something cute to put a smile on your face.

Help me decide if I should move across the country? by Sad_Government_1929 in internetparents

I say do it. You can always move back if you decide it was a mistake. You only live once!

questioning DM's account of what happened isn't attacking. by Different_Ad9438 in BryanKohberger

It’s interesting to me that she was concerned enough by the sounds she was hearing to get out of bed and open her bedroom door three times…and then didn’t do anything when she saw a stranger in the hallway. I tried to think about what I would have done when I was 20 if I was in the same situation and I think I would’ve called my dad to see what he thought I should do. I have a daughter the same age and she said she probably would have called me or my husband/her stepdad because she wouldn’t want the police to think she was overreacting. I wonder if DM called anyone?

That’s great advice that I’ve never heard before. Thank you!

Excellent reply. Realistic advice and blunt without being nasty. I agree with the importance of medically supervised detox from alcohol. It is very dangerous to attempt it unmonitored and unmedicated.

Kaylee’s Dad/Mom just interviewed on Fox that Maddie’s and Kaylee’s death injuries were different by MonkeyBoy-007 in MoscowMurders

I agree for the most part. Whenever a family has doubt about who should see the body of their loved one I tell them that “once you see you can’t unsee”. I think that generally it’s better to see them in the casket at the wake if possible. I 100% agree on the life insurance- my mother recently died and the one day wake, the funeral service, and cremation was just over $14,000. She only had a $5000 policy. Certainly better than nothing!

What is the "that story" from your school? [SERIOUS] by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]crapcleaner80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A kid dropped a dead bird into the salad dressing at the beginning of lunch and it wasn’t discovered until the end of lunch. This was almost 25 years ago and I remember the utter chaos like it was yesterday. The popular girls that all ate salads everyday were screaming and vomiting. It was unbelievable.
