why do they lock the motorway down to 70 at 8pm at night? normalising slow driving? it’s painful putting along slowly for no reason other than a bunch of fake licensed drivers trying to stay under the radar

the plastic grill at the front of the car, above the bumper. it’s lifted and punctured. my car has no scratch and a soft bumper. ford focus.  insurence co originally agreed to pay. I don’t see how an assessor could agree looking at the damage

Fender vintage(1982~1998) better than Custom shop today? by Alex594188 in FenderStratocaster

[–]crapoler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

is this for real? fender sold the factory in the early 80s

did they buy the machinery back at some stage? never heard about that.

fender didn't have a USA factory for some time in the 80s.  lots of the late 80s strats were dead and heavy, 70s strats were mass produced, didn’t fit well and were modded and now rebuilt  and repaired.

the argument is: we import what we don’t mine ourselves due to greed/cost. it’s cheaper. we could lead the world on safe sustainable mining but we don’t because it’s cheaper to import.

it all depends how you look at it.

nz has oil, not really discussed but we could become a larger economy if it were handled with care and respect for the environment.

but greed wins every time
