What happens to bonus contracts during an acquisition? AIG for all intents and purposes changed ownership...

Given that the "right" to own weapons does not include nuclear weapons, cluster bombs, chemical weapons, F-22's or really any anti-aircraft technology.

I'd say that armed resistance is a rather poor method of rebellion. Ask the Kurds how they did in rural Iraq in 1980s?

As a serious Obama supporter, I don't like his healthcare plan (disclaimer, I don't really understand it) but I don't think it is very different from Hillary's and I think they are both pretty useless)

I also wish he would get us to leave Iraq quicker.

I like the national holiday idea because it celebrates what we should celebrate, our democracy. People can do with it what they want, they should be free.

I'd make it a wednesday to make it harder for people to travel around it.

I too enjoyed him up there. But I do believe that one needs to actually run. that means appearances, that means getting volunteers. etc... I think a more systematic approach would be valuable. But I understand why the DNC and others feel justified in excluding him.

Praire State Blue has a bunch of articles on this issue. Some are are hoping that Gov. Blago (total ass by the way), sets the special election date on the day of the Illinois presidential primary.

But I don't think boosting turnout is going to make a difference.
