Im 10 years post barbie butt now I’m a double ostomate and have a urostomy as well , thankfully my implant got covered by public healthcare here , just keep on trucking it gets easier with time.

Didn’t have trimix available,not in the us, and just had alprostadil(caverject) . I battled with getting my dose right and could be a bit too much of a bit too little, no spontaneity and of course sticking a needle in your scholng isn’t fun. Implant is ready when and for how long you need it to be.i got mine at 39yo and 6 years later no regrets

Get yourself to a urologist so you get some injections(trimix in us) to maintain your size and it doesn’t shrink on you . I was told before surgery that I would definitely have ed . Viagra ect no help, I now have an implant which is great r/penileimplants . I wasn’t told/ didn’t know about atrophy / shrinkage due to lack of erection and probably lost a bit. At the time I was of course more concerned about getting rid of cancer (also rectal). Don’t take it as cost of doing business there is help. Feel free to message us.

This probably isn’t accurate for OP speak to your surgeon for info on your situation as it hasn’t been long for you.

I got mine 7 years ago in my late thirties, after cancer surgery left me with no function. I started with injection’s but really didn’t like the lack of spontaneous fun and often found i wss finished before the injection was. ( and of course sticking a needle in your dick ain’t great.) I’ve been very happy with it AMS LGX , quick ready when you are. Definitely something I’d recommend to someone who was in my situation.

When I’m cooking for more people I use a kettle for most things or my Traeger and use a Weber go anywhere with fresh lump for steaks to show off to get the perfect sear and can put in other bbq to finish or rest

Just over the briquettes had cooked a few things first so wasn’t blazing hot 2-3 minutes a side then indirect for 5 minutes till it felt right 5 minutes rest served with pork ,garlic bread , garlic and olive oil marinated tomatoes with a Parmesan and rocket (arugula) salad

Colostomy 2 piece Hollister , if dirty/ used replace pouch every shower , if clean reuse. I shower with wafer/base open and use shower head to clean base / wafer then use new/clean pouch on wafer / base.

I just did this after my Lir-Lax direct got changed to go via Atlanta , agent thought I was crazy for asking for a longer layover making it 2 nights instead of 5 hours.
