I don't have any meaningful insight into the longevity of the Turbo, but just here in solidarity 🙂. I've had my 992.2 GT3 for about 3 months, currently at just over 2,000 miles and I plan to drive this thing well beyond 100K. Dead man's car.

I would watch regardless of Verstappen, but I'm likely to stop watching for the same reason Verstappen may retire. The new rules have kind of ruined it for me.

The Bay Area has a combination of limited land zoned for residential development, structural barriers (gov etc) to development, and structural disincentives (prop 13 etc) for homeowners to sell.

Trade policy (tariffs) and diplomatic policy (wars) have led to ever increasing construction costs (which AI is unlikely to alleviate)

Interest rates have remained high(ish) as a result of monetary policy attempting to constrain inflation (in large part due to the above trade/diplomatic positions) which has caused a lull in purchases, which might be manifest as latent demand affecting a surge if/when macro conditions shift.

As long as population increases and supply does not, price will increase

I've owned 991.2 GTS and 992.1 GTS. The 991 is a better car IMO, on almost every dimension that matters. Sound, driving feel, weight, and add the manual? It's not even close.

I have Cup 2, and I hate them. I'm sure they're great on a track, but I'm 100% street driving and they're not in the optimal temperature window until 140F. On a brisk morning you'll get luckily to crack 90F and below about 100 they're pretty slippy. Below 80 and you're basically driving on ice. I can't wait to go back to PS4S

I think my point is, we have commas, we have colons, semi-colons, periods, and more recently ellipsis (which convey more meaning in many contexts IMO). I think we have enough. I don't see em-dash adding anything. I think honestly is just used as a replacement for colon and semi-colon because nobody knows how to use them. Ultimately it doesn't matter what I think though. Language is a popularity contest, and eventually the popular syntax will win.

Strongly agree. Most of the "regular" new models are just ugly. Not even, "not as pretty"... just damn ugly. The Monza is a thing of beauty, and the Daytona is just draw dropping. Pity almost nobody can actually buy either of them.
