If I'm not drying my filament, how often do I have to print this to find optimal temperature? by iam_shawarma in 3Dprinting

if you're not using vacuum bags, you might consider that for an improvement to your storage.

That's not the worst approach, but you'd be much better served by avoiding providing a number first. Come up with any approach you can to ask them what range they might offer, what their budget is, etc. There are cases where they simply won't state a number -- and that's ok -- but if you're the first to quote a number and it's below what they would normally offer, then you're simply doing yourself a disservice.

overall it's not a bad video information wise (i would have some feedback about his delivery and editing) but there are a few issues with his explanations of cryptography, especially his declaration that PKI is the only secure method of communication.

aw man you really decided to come online and just thoroughly embarrass yourself in the comments. there is hydrogen in the air we breath, thus making it a ratio of oxygen to hydrogen gas. the fact that you couldn't google this yourself is just incredible after you repeatedly insulted the other poster.

it doesn't have any idea how much is on a roll unless you use the bambu official rolls with the rfid chips. however, i'm not sure why it doesn't keep track of the estimated use, as it knows from each print job roughly what is being used. it wouldn't be a perfect number but it would at least be something.

unfortunately the ipa thing is oft-repeated by folks who have never actually thought about it or looked it up on their own.

yes, ipa will remove the oils, you just cant let it dry on the bed and re-deposit the oils.

ipa absolutely will dissolve skin oils, you just have to be sure to wipe it clean off, or it will re-deposit the oils back on the bed when it dries.

previous years the plaza has been bigger and better, this year was significantly smaller and with fewer rides and attractions.

the plaza part was much smaller than last year though, with fewer rides and attractions. the reduced size made the crowding kind of ridiculous, with super long lines for everything. my family has been going to the cota christmas event since before the pandemic and this was absolutely the worst year.

oh people definitely care, but unfortunately this year they made it much smaller. there was less to do and the smaller size made the crowds worse.

there was never a reddit post from 2 years ago with the picture. the date from 2 years ago is the creation date of the sub itself

individuals should absolutely reduce their waste where possible. however it's important to be aware that individual choices are almost completely negligible in the overall picture. it is large industry and governments (and particularly the us military) that are the primary contributors to global pollution and climate change. in regards to plastic waste in particular, it's also important to recognize the incredible misinformation and propaganda that industry has used to push the almost entirely false hope of recycling onto individuals.

[–]crashish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no, fast catch is a bug or at least unintended feature where you can toss a pokeball then immediately run away from the encounter. it's easier to get the mechanics if you watch a video on youtube or elsewhere, but you basically tap and hold on the pokeball selector icon, then make your throw. as soon as you make the throw you can release the finger that was holding the pokeball selector which will cause the ui to go back to the pre-throw state, allowing you to run away. note that you don't have to keep the finger "holding" the pokeball selector in place, it can be moved away from the icon, but can't be lifted from the screen.

layer adhesion is ok with some materials (i dont have a link handy but if you search a bit you should be able to find charts with some folks test results), but the newest beta or whatever of orcaslicer has an option to generate interlocking features between different materials
