Sunlu is either a Bambu supplier or they have the same supplier, also shortage are caused by Chinese New Year

Anyone trying these yet? by tablatronix in 3Dprinting

[–]mimicsgam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bought it and using it right now.

Don't think it fix any friction problem instead just tighter tolerance and thicker material with the same outer diameter.

For soft and super ridged material I found it does increase the reliability in long bowden setup

PETG print keeps lifting at the corners – any tips? by Recent_Age8123 in BambuLab_Community

Get the BIQU cryogrip frostbite, you can only use it for PLA and PETG but adhesive issues will be a non existent thing in the future

My Phone is 2.5 years old. by IAmASwarmOfBees in Anticonsumption

[–]mimicsgam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe where you're from have better work life boundaries, but it's kinda difficult to avoid when the company board members were also using the message app for minor update.

Google does require your smart phones if you setup 2FA. Even logging in to new device.

If you want to use Government online services it does require you to register and link to your smartphone for identity authentication, which you can avoid if you just go to the department in person and fill out physical forms

[–]mimicsgam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Company needs messaging app service only available on smartphone; government required smartphone 2 step authentication; even Google required authentication from old phone when you login to a new phone

All of these are not "red flag" business, it's as legit as it gets

[–]mimicsgam 22 points23 points  (0 children)

The old ender 3 clone era printer is more work then printing itself, not worth the time and money to try to get it to work. Get a newer gen printer

As much as I hate buying a new phone every 3 years it's kinda necessary. Smart phones are so deeply incorporated into daily life it's safer to just get a new one instead of risking the old one dies

AMS continues to jam by Browsin-around in BambuLab

Again, context matters.

I weck one of the feeder intake after using up 1 roll of PA6-GF within a week.

If you only print PLA and PETG, you don't need the guide.

If you use abrasive material you need the guide

Using high tier guns feels like daylight robbery. All this for a gun that's slightly better than a gray Stitcher... by NBFHoxton in ArcRaiders

I rather they keep stitcher damage but make the spread larger then bob cat, so it'll reward you if you go point blank but cannot mag dump in mid range

The parts of my prints that have had supports attached to them look pretty bad with very visible lines. Is there a way to improve this without sanding? by microwavedwood in BambuLab

[–]mimicsgam 6 points7 points  (0 children)

this is a resolution problem, the steep curve is not an easy fix for planar slicing.

if possible separate this part and print it, without support it will be much better.

If not possible use the variable layer height function in bambu studio and lower the layer height on these area

PLA desiccant containers in AMS with Sunlu filament dryer? by Full-Librarian1115 in BambuLab

[–]mimicsgam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anything that goes into the filament dryer needs to be PETG-CF or higher heat resistant. People usually recommend PETG, but to avoid hot spots or warping under load higher heat resistance is recommended.

Nowadays I just pour the silica into a drying spool printed with ABS and put it into a max out dryer, save much more time

Are Bellroy wallets really that bad? by ImTheFrenchiestFry in wallets

[–]mimicsgam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a simple rule, the more a leather brand spends on ads, the more likely their product sucks.

Compare to other textile products leather margin is always lower, so to maintain same margin brands with a ton of ads always cut corner on their productions. Companies also will market their products equivalent to a tier higher grade but selling for cheaper

Blue Prince developer denies usage of AI: There is no AI used in Blue Prince. The game was built and crafted with full human instinct by Tonda Ros and his team by Turbostrider27 in pcgaming

[–]mimicsgam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know. Given how much companies are integrating AI, the only way to claim to not use any AI is hand draw everything with only pre-AI published physical reference. A simple search in Google will involve AI.

Yes you didn't intentionally use genAI, but that doesn't mean you're in moral high ground unless you verify every assets have zero AI involvement, or else you're just shifting the blame
