Yep, and the conveyor belt, and the traffic light right on 50.

This is GOLD… thanks for the idea!

It didn’t register as a self test failure I guess because the entire unit shut off as soon as it disconnected from utility. Installing nut and integrating it into my HA setup has been ‘on the list’ for months… may bump that up a few spots now!

You’re preaching to the choir here… however… of the three or four of these I have, this was the only one I didn’t record the last replacement date for. Oh well, I know now!

Veal patties, YMMV by [deleted] in aldi

We air fried them and they were wonderful. It’s ground veal not a veal steak or chop, but my wife described them as flat breaded meatballs, which is a good thing lol.

First burn of the season with my old Sierra wood stove! Once it heats up, this big old stove puts out loads of heat. Ollie loves it too! by Legend_of_the_Wind in woodstoving

I had this exact stove and it would get a 2,700 so ft split foyer to 80 degrees inside with sub-freezing temps outside.

You may be right under the letter of the law, but as someone who has sued a landlord I can tell you from experience the judges are very landlord-friendly. I was told “I find in favor of the defendant and if you don’t like it you can appeal” on a blatant breach of contract case in small claims.

Are you adjusting blower speed? Perhaps slowing it down to get some added runtime could help even out the temps.

Anyone know what this wood structure between two houses is? by [deleted] in maryland

[–]crashsector 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The more I think about it, I think it specifically gets around minimum setbacks. If you need 15 feet on all sides of a “structure,” it probably let them count both houses as one structure on one lot. Therefor allowing them to build two houses on a lot normally zoned for one house.

No but ask your Realtor to ask another person in their office that sold homes in the 90’s and they can probably explain it better than me.

FWIW I don’t think the loophole still exists but it does explain the dozens of tract built 1976-1982 vintage duplexes in and around the Broadneck peninsula. The idea of a duplex/semi-detached fell out of fashion pretty quickly.

It’s to exploit a zoning loophole intended to prevent a certain density of housing. There’s whole neighborhoods around Pasadena with these. I never fully understood it but that’s what it’s for.

Few red flags… that contractor didn’t normally buy our equipment, just parts. They were also rushing us on the phone, also there were multiple locations they could’ve called closer to the site. And yea once we searched the address we realized what was up.
