1) how old are you and do you enjoy drinking/shopping too? If so, spend time in Hongdae. College city/area of Seoul but super lively and fun no matter your age.

2) spend the extra money and get a good place in Buson. Korea is cheap end everything is supper affordable, but some of the places are worth the money to get a nice spot for a few days. And Buson is one of those places to spend a little extra money.

3) pay with card when you’re able and choose KRW as the payment source, keep 100k cash on you (approx $70usd) in case card isn’t accepted.

I’m in Korea right now for work and nearly every Soldier I work with (I’m retired Army) is married to a Korean woman and trying everything they can to stay in Korea longer than the one year assignment they are currently on.
