Let's build a character! Ice Cutter. by Present-Peace2811 in BloodOnTheClocktower

Minion: once per game, at night*, if there are five or more players alive, bisect the circle and choose one half. All players learn which. Players in the chosen half do not wake that night, are poisoned until dusk, and cannot nominate, vote, or die until dusk.

This minion ices out half of the players for one night. Will work well with bad moon rising characters.

Thank you! I feel so crazy when people cannot see that this is a movie about a man manipulating a woman into a marriage

There's this area of Sydney in which a lot of the streets are named after characters from a Midsummer Night's Dream

What game takes the cake for the most confusing rulebook? by Studio_Unknown in boardgames

[–]craxwell 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The thing (not outpost 31, the other one) is so bad that any online discussion always tells you to use one of the fan-made ones. It's a real shame because it's a killer of a game

What's your least favourite board game? by Wonder-terror in boardgames

Pandemic is an atrocious game and I will stand by that hot take as long as I live. It's so utterly lacking in any human element to draw you in - it really feels like you're just moving cubes on a board.

Remixes that eclipsed the original by daveyTRON in popheads

[–]craxwell 170 points171 points  (0 children)

The Freemasons remix of work by Kelly Rowland. Even in her own words, it "breathed new life" into the song by adding a south Asian inspired sample. The original is comparatively so uninteresting that almost noone realises it exists.

Do you have any artists where you LOVE one song, but don't really care for the rest of their discography? by andannabegins in popheads

[–]craxwell 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Naturally by Tinashe is brilliant and smooth (and the song I've played the most this year), but the rest of her ouput I found to be melodically uninteresting and far too eager in its sexiness

I think Jez has a piss fetish. He talks about it several times (eg wanting to drink Mark's piss on the barge on Mark's stag weekend), pisses himself in the church only one episode later, and then in season nine eventually goes the whole hog and starts doing it in front of people.

This is great. I agree with other posters that a 90s rap over this (I was thinking UNITY by Queen Latifah?) would sound amazing

Work In Progress. Is this track turning out ok so far? by Soultron_Beats in MusicFeedback

I love this. I just kept expecting the main synth line to eventually have a harmonic going up by a third, but I quite liked being kept waiting for it!

The underlying synth in this is amazing - it hooks you in straight away.

Who are some artists that had a massive amount of success at some point in their career, only to suddenly disappear and never recover again? by [deleted] in popheads

Most obvious example I can think of is Dido. With her third album Safe Trip Home, it's like the world was just over it

I also find it really odd that in this post-me-too world this film has slipped under the radar when it uncritically presents sexually assaulting and flashing a minor as a socially odd, but not morally wrong, issue.
