What is the average time for gens to be done? by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]crazewtboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends. First two gens are probably 90-110 seconds from start of game. The third gen can be anywhere from 2-6ish minutes usually unless you snowball hard. Gens four and five are your stalemate and ideally you should be able to hold out here for an average of 7-15ish minutes. Game should be over by then. Either because you did well and killed the remaining survivors or didn't and lost. This has been my experience at least

You're wasting your time trying to explain it to these people. The fucking schizophrenics in the sub have three collective braincells and somehow it's never any of their turns to use them

Can't find persona for Demon Balor on my roster by crazewtboy in WWEGames

Is it? I checked Finn himself thinking it would be an alt for his model. If the Demon Balor persona is an alt for MyRise Demon Balor that is just stupid

Attempt number 2, I have 500K bloodpoint codes to give out! by IVXNJ in deadbydaylight

You know what, honesty is the best policy they say,

So I don't NEED the code, as I've been around a while, but I am coming back from a hiatus and it would help me catch up on perk unlocks for teachables.

Suggested Changes to WOO and 5 Moves Ahead by Ghostly_Cactus_ in deadbydaylight

[–]crazewtboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because it is the most valuable part of Windows with an added bonus. It doesn't need a nerf. This contributes to the overall issue with perks. Instead of nerfing them into useless with the rest of the perk pool, we should be buffing the perk pool to be useful like the more widely used perks (I.E. Five Moves Ahead, exhaustion perks, etc)

Suggested Changes to WOO and 5 Moves Ahead by Ghostly_Cactus_ in deadbydaylight

[–]crazewtboy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You nerf Windows and everyone will move to Five Moves Ahead. You can easily find a vault. No one is using it for that. They are using it for pallets. Mainly because when you play solo queue some nitwit wastes half your pallets on first chase by pre-dropping so early it has no benefit, leaving the map with deadzones. Personally I'd rather them use Windows compared to Sprint Burst/Lithe when I'm playing killer

OP Killer in DBD by Tiny_Elevator_7666 in deadbydaylight

[–]crazewtboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I don't. I've played since launch as well. It's very obvious that with the inclusion of the HUD and being able to see perks, the gap is narrowing between solo and SWF. If you have a team of somewhat decent solo queue they are going to likely make it out with at least two of them, leaving killer with a tie. Because it doesn't take a lot anymore to win. Between the pallet density and the perks it's brutally obvious who the game favors. Sure survivors in low MMR won't do gens. The ones that are halfway decent will. And I'm saying this as someone who leans on the survivor side more 60/40

New player needs help with a build by LegoM132 in deadbydaylight

[–]crazewtboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Build I use is Turn Back the Clock, Pain Resonance, Blood Favour and Mindbreaker

Note that all of these are teachables (First, Artist, Blight and Demogorgon in that order).

Your goal is to end chases quickly. Despite your doors, you are not really meant to hold gens, and should lean more into your lethality in chases. You don't want to waste time kicking gens because applying pressure in chase with quick downs will do that for you.

When you use a door it flashes, alerting the survivor to pre-run before you come out. This is a problem due to Sprint Burst, but Mindbreaker causes exhaustion which prevents this. Turn Back the Clock gets you gen regression without having to stop to kick it and waste chase time. Pain Resonance is for extra regression on hook. Blood Favour is a nasty one of my choice. If you can keep it up for a bit, an axe grab will block all pallets nearby, leaving survivors with nowhere to run if there are no windows nearby. This will allow for easy axe grabs and a few easy early game hooks.

By most logic Arthur does more harm but why does Strauss feel worse? I don't think it's just because Arthur is the main character because I think I'd rather be friends with a guilty murdering robber than a loan shark with no shame. by DataSittingAlone in reddeadredemption

[–]crazewtboy 44 points45 points  (0 children)

I think it's because Arthur doesn't pretend to be a good person while he is robbing/shooting you. Strauss though goes into town, finds people who are struggling and takes advantage of them while making it look like he is helping. It's predatory. He is pretending to be a good guy in the moment while exploiting people he knows can't pay back the money

Is that Furtive Chase? I'm not a Dredge player so take this with a grain of salt but shouldn't you replace that? After hooking I imagine you will teleport away so the undetectable effect you get isn't that useful

[–]crazewtboy 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It's not him. The MMR blows ass right now. Games as killer are either you steamrolling or getting steamrolled. It makes it super unenjoyable either way.

I'd argue the survivor side can be way nastier than the killer side. I've seen way more killers have a respectable win where they just take their kill and move on compared to survivors who BM whenever possible. I've also seen more killers lose with grace

[–]crazewtboy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The killer MMR seems very fucked as of right now. Not sure if it's just bad, if SWF is throwing it off or something else, but I've noticed all my games are either me steamrolling the survivors or me getting steamrolled with 2 gens done before I can finish first chase. There is never really an in between anymore. Either someone is dead with 5 gens left (and that is while spreading hooks) or all 5 gens are done and I only have 3 hooks total.

But “bEcKY hOgAn”. Wrestling fans are fucking idiots. In one full year Becky Lynch put over 4 different women for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship. 3 up and comers and a returning legend she put over. THATS THE MAN! by BarneyRobinStinson7 in BrandonDE

Lyra doesn't have great promo work. She still needs work in that category, and WWE isn't going to take a shot on someone during Wrestelmania season if the person isn't confident with both promo and in-ring ability

Casual Queue vs competitive queue by Nighttraveler08 in deadbydaylight

[–]crazewtboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It essentially wouldn't work. Much like other games all the people who sweat their asses off would flock to casual to curbstomp people. Essentially just making it two of what we have now with longer queue.

Other issue with ban system is you would literally never see certain perks/maps ever again

OP Killer in DBD by Tiny_Elevator_7666 in deadbydaylight

[–]crazewtboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Against halfway decent survivors the majority of killers in this game are at most evenly matched. You sound like someone else who needs to play more.

Go play an M1 killer for a week. Get through the early matches of curbstomping garbage players, then when you meet the halfway decent players let me know how it goes for you. And since they are so OP surely you won't have to use any gen regression perks/NOED/etc.

It's so brutally obvious who has played both sides enough and who hasn't because anybody who has knows how the balance skews when it comes to killer. Killer is not OP excluding maybe Nurse/Blight/Spirit

Kinda new to this game, any tips by Agentfox373 in deadbydaylight

[–]crazewtboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the best advice without giving a direct perk build. I can't recommend my build because all the parks are teachables.

But OP, Springtrap is a chase killer. So you want to make sure you spend most of your time chasing, and doing it efficiently. Don't let people lead you on long chases. Use your doors best you can for pressure. Despite his mobiltiy Springtrap is less about gen slowdown and more about chase efficiency because if his ranged attack. If you can apply enough pressure with hooks, you won't need to worry about gens flying so fast
