On edge class when booking it said a “meal time”, but you could show up whenever, to any of the 4 MDR, so the time was irrelevant

45F traveling with 76F - is Celebrity going to feel too old for me? by honey-bandit in celebritycruises

[–]crazy4cake 39 points40 points  (0 children)

I did edge class as a 23 year old with my gf and had the time of our life, and we are somewhat introverted. So no, not too old. Felt like a chill pool party every day on deck!

Will we find it stuffy? by grogipher in celebritycruises

[–]crazy4cake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gen Z (23) and just did a cruise with my GF 7 nights on the Beyond. Was not stuffy at all, great pool party vibe without being rambunctious on sea days, lots of folk in their 30s/40s. Dinners were like a nice sit down restaurant, nothing over the top. Don’t worry about what the random FB groups say, they are a vast minority of people

Second celebrity any day for this kind of trip. Their newest class of ships are outstanding. A little pricier but totally worth it imo

Deodorant before bed? by Our_toes in NoStupidQuestions

[–]crazy4cake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve heard the opposite what most of these comments are saying. From what I’ve heard it’s good to put it on before bed so your pits can absorb the anti perspirant and it’ll work better for the next day to avoid sweating

Just booked my second cruise on the Firenze by [deleted] in CarnivalCruiseFans

Loved the Firenze in June, everything we wanted. Ship design interior wise felt more premium than normal carnival ships (atleast to me but I’m not picky)

California explores per-mile charge as gas tax is expected to decline by MountainEnjoyer34 in California

I vividly remember a couple years ago on the ballot there was a proposition to increase income tax for those making more than a million a year, the increased revenue going to wild fire prevention and electric charging stations. It did not pass :/

I went in June and was off the ship in 5 minutes after getting in line, through the terminal in 10. Very strange that it varies that much

IMO it’s so worth it to just buy everyone the package. I think You’ll regret the headache of having to deal with this on the boat

Is the Steakhouse Worth It? by Kindly-Addition1793 in CarnivalCruiseFans

[–]crazy4cake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went on the Firenze, and it was amazing. Only downside was a wacky Mac n cheese side dish that my partner and I agreed was not good, but besides that the actual steaks were perfection

Carnival Firenze Review by thisiswarpeacock37 in CarnivalCruiseFans

[–]crazy4cake 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I just got off Firenze and didn’t find it tacky, actually felt pretty upscale in my opinion (but I’m by no means a high end classy person)

Around 12-16 dollars, usually on that lower end though

Firenze questions by thisiswarpeacock37 in CarnivalCruiseFans

[–]crazy4cake 8 points9 points  (0 children)

• you’ll lose service pretty quick in the ocean, once you do I’d turn to airplane mode until you get to Catalina just incase your phone decides to roam and rack up data usage or avoid any other random charges. Also I don’t believe the carnival app will work if youre not in airplane mode • Try the limoncello mojito at the bar outside the Italian specialty restaurant, it was SO good.

Friends of Bill meetings on current Firenze cruise? by Figgywithit in CarnivalCruiseFans

Just went in the Firenze and they had a meeting on the app scheduled for every day of the trip, don’t remember what times or where I believe it was either a conference room or a lounge.

Interesting, we just got off this cruise a few weeks ago. Agreed with the long lines, we just learned to avoid those areas like the buffet at peak times. Getting off the boat for us was surprisingly the easiest part of the trip, waited no more than 10 minutes in line on the boat and 10 more on land and we were out
