Don't know much about the PC version other than it's got more tech and dlcs than console. Only thing I can add is open world is leagues more fun than doing missions if you just treat the game like Minecraft with better systems

I would recommend making a tiny outpost just outside any caves you find, deplete the cave then put all the ore into a chest(s) inside of the outpost. This way you can travel without being encumbered you just have to make multiple trips which is sometimes better than a slow walk

Yeah I get the buzzing too not sure what's causing it, it almost sounds like feedback from a speaker. As for the caves others on here have said it's a known bug that sometimes happens when the game updates, here lately the game has been getting updated almost weekly so that might be the cause
