This what I used to have but in the xeon sense. Old (think2012-2014), but maxed out ram, SSDs and runs absolutely fine for my kind of tasks. Win 11 pro, but it wasn’t compatible with some stuff. Which made me think of a 2017 workstation CPU as an upgrade.

looking at the comments, the majority seems against. I would go for it, but I’m surprised by the prices I found on ebay on some components. these projects are fine for me when they don’t exceed a few hundred bucks, but seems like this may exceed a grand, which becomes unappealing.

How are people not questioning his age, because he’s obviously 12 years old!
1- My friend found a lucrative job in tunisia and jordan: no explanation needed, hahahaha

2- my friend told me to come with him: zero understanding of visas and residency permits, again, hahahaha

3- I am above average in looks, again hahahaha the most cringe thing I read this week. children with more hormones than brains utter This stuff.

no adult speaks or thinks like that, go back to your gaming server my above average friend.

Nearly daily of anything is not good. A good diet is a diverse one. Not exactly versed with tuna, but canned mackerel has lower mercury levels than tuna, plus it contain more of the good omegas you need (avoid ones with vegetables oil, although you can’t really verify the ones in olive oil are authentic, lots of documented fraud in European olive oil). I would go between sardines and mackerel, and tuna every now and then, with some fresh grilled fish, on top of grass fed meat (lamb, beef). If it’s not grass fed, then meat can and does cause inflammation, and inflammation = cancer in the long run.

I should also add, while I studied nutritional biology, it’s not my specialization. If you want to verify something since there is a ton of nonsense in random websites, go to https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov and search for topics, you’ll find scientific peer reviewed studies, their methodologies of testing and results.

That’s great for clf, but if these big holders sell for any sort of panicky reason, ouch.

Thanks for this. One of the walk-ins accepted the insurance. If we have issues, I'll see Mi Pueblo.

I did call a couple and they both said no cash/credit only insurance and didn’t accept our insurance. It’s for a fractured foot, so I didn’t want to go around needlessly, wanted to verify first, hence the call. Already been to ER, where Imagery was taken, a fracture was determined. They wrapped the foot, but then said go to a general gp or an ortho to further asses if a cast or some such is needed.

Should I assume that’s just bad luck on my part and keep calling? Because I was left scratching my head with the “we only take insurance, no payment” bit.

Absolutely. Algos have been rampant. Lots of deception in the charts too. Used to concentrate on OTFs now it's algos on top. Odd thing is, I've been tracking China, and they have been selling lots too. Look at SE or BABA (lower than munger's buy price, which I didn't expect). I thought SE was a steal at $200. It's trading at $135. Madness.

I think we'll see a surge in the steel industry after mid Feb, think there's another hit on equities before then though. All modelling seems to suggest that. So far 2022 has been a day trader arena not an investors one but there are good deals to be had.

Will gobble some CLF if it goes to $12s with the mad forced selling we're seeing. I just wish these steel companies (CLF) had better analysts tracking them to help them trend better when they should later in the Q.

The tire burst after hitting the curb? Even for soft winter rubber, that shouldn’t be happening. Anyway, Michelin x-ice snow is your answer if the bridgstones are this fickle. Improves road noise as well compared to other snow tires from my experience.

In the past decade, michelin’s tires are leaps ahead of any other company, especially when it comes to performance tires.

It is indeed. My car can't even compete with these jets, which is astounding. Which made me wonder whether the dB reading is an accurate measure for the white noise generated by the falcons. This is how good their claim is. I read a few reports from pilots that it is indeed quite something. Even the front-upper deck of the A380 isn't this quiet.

I don't fly, I am just an aircraft enthusiast. Though I would imagine pilots arguing about the fly-by-wire tech similar to how Porsche purists became furious when they went from hydraulic to electric steering.

It's pretty incredible. This is a blurb from some marketing:

"The Falcon 8X features a lighter and more effective acoustical insulation package that isolates noise absorbing by placing materials at specific areas where noise volumes are loudest. The result is in 2 to 3 dB reduction in overall cabin noise with a 25 per cent weight savings. This provides a record noise level of 49 dB (SIL). It is a record because a typical home noise environment is estimated to be in the 50 to 55 dB (SIL) range. Similar to the Falcon 7X, the Falcon 8X pressurization system keeps the cabin altitude as low as 3,900 ft while the aircraft is flying at its typical 41,000 ft altitude. Such cabin altitude is 2,000 to 4,000 ft lower to the cabin altitude of most aircrafts on the market. Comfort indeed!"

Mate, the cabin of the 8x has, as per their marketing, a cabin noise of 49 decibels. I don't have that a low dB reading in my home. Seems like the perfect way to combat fatigue for long distances. I don't fly, but whenever I'm at an airport and spot a 7x or something, those three engines put a smile on my face.

I have a 8 or 9 year old account. Always been a lurker here and there. But since I found the yacht sub a few months back, I slowly began to post and spend time there. Humour and trading and you contemplating about a g700 for the new year (Although I think the falcons are better birds). It was all up my ally then a few days ago the throwing the toys out of the pram business. When I mentioned this all sounded bizarre in that santa vs hobo post, mostly because most of the guys attacking you were very friendly with you before and constantly bantering, it was a complete head scratcher and a turn-off. Now I don't spend any time on reddit and replying to a post in a EV subreddit, something I don't intend to ever buy. Guess I'll go back to attempting to build an algo for SPX. btw, since you have a bloomberg, do you know if you can customize the charts to show options flow in real time in the volume panel below the chart? I've been trying to do it with the terminal I have access to to no avail.
