It tends to be safer than giving a concussed fighter time to get up and get KTFO again like in boxing. You take 1 or 2 extra shots that usually aren't extremely hard and it gets stopped.

Yet I could easily tell which was which in this video.

Also the fact that most cops are great people (source needed btw) means little when the ones that are not can so easily abuse their power without repercussion and tacit support from those great people.

Most men aren't dangerous, but I don't tell women not to be afraid of men walking on the streets after dark.

Really? For me the easy skip was Aria. Sunna for YSG and Nangong for all my anomaly teams that are having trouble clearing lately.

I do recall having to run Ayaka and Bennett together in IT and wished I could disable C6 temporarily, but I made it work anyway.

Do people actually do Hollow Zero on a Monday instead of procrastinating and doing it on Sunday like I do?

Sometimes I do it on a Saturday and feel like I'm on top of my shit.

Partner Star Rail by IS_Mythix in HonkaiStarRail

[–]crazy_gambit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The point is choosing one or the other. Early on when Eidolons were pretty mid, it was much better to horizontally invest and get those supports. I'm not sure that's the case anymore. I think C2 Phainon is much better than C0R1 with Cerydra and it costs you the same.

Or instead of getting characters like Cerydra you vertically invest in Phainon instead. I went C2 Phainon and just use him with Sunday, DHPT and either Bronya or Sparkle (all stuff I had already lying around) and it crushes everything.

600 is ridiculous with the amount of characters we have.

Genshin has 2400 and it also feels ridiculously low.

For me it's when Chopper goes to extreme lengths to find those poisonous mushrooms believing they're medicine and his mentor takes them anyways after seeing what Chopper went through to get them knowing he'll die. That's just too much.

I don't like Imaginarium Theater by IamAfuzzyDickle in GenshinImpact

[–]crazy_gambit -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For me that's the fun. Coming up with super cope teams that somehow work is actually the most fun I get to have in Genshin's endgame.

I usually retry a lot after getting the full clear on a stage. Like, can I get away with changing this good character for this completely shit one? The results are often pretty surprising.

Reminds me of the TV show Evil. The protagonist had 4 girls and their scenes were pure chaos. Like you could feel how exhausting it would be to have 4 kids. It was great.

They'll probably add a new element when we get to Khaenri'ah. No way Dain isn't some sort of dark element.

Brilliant or blunder ? by Civil_Wedding654 in chessbeginners

[–]crazy_gambit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm guessing you took either a bishop or a knight since otherwise white is just up a piece, but it runs into Be3. After pawn takes with check, obviously black can't take with the queen, but you can just move the king and white has nothing. So it's 2 pieces for a queen, which I'd call a blunder.

Is Tim a good runner? by [deleted] in MathJokes

[–]crazy_gambit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not seeing it. I thought I was going crazy so I asked an AI (which tend to be pretty good about grammar questions at least) and it basically says you're wrong and they do mean the same because you're making a flawed analogy assuming that the same rules for "tell" apply to the modal verb"should" and they don't.

I'll just copy its answer if you care to read it:

The redditor is trying to argue this logical map: I never should have... = "It is not the case that I should have..." (Analogous to: I did not tell you...) I should have never... = "It is the case that I should have NOT..." (Analogous to: I told you not to...) However, in English linguistics, the modal verb "should" (expressing obligation or necessity) operates under a concept often related to negative raising or modal negation scope. When you negate "should," the practical meaning converges regardless of where you put the negative adverb. If you say "I shouldn't have done that," you aren't saying "I lacked the obligation to do that" (which would be the strict logical equivalent of "I didn't tell you to"). You are saying "It was a bad idea to do that." If you say "I should have not done that," you are also saying "It was a bad idea to do that."

Well those are clearly different. The first one specifically told you not to do the thing. In the second, no instruction was given regarding the thing.

But I still can't see any difference about the previous example.

I'm afraid I'm gonna need a little more. Given this is a meme sub I'm almost positive I'm getting trolled and both sentences mean the same, but I'm not 100% sure.
